I opted for the University of Waterloo because it has a co-op and it is well known. Additionally, it is somewhat close to home. I can live on campus while being in close enough proximity to go home. I like to live on my own.
The reason I have chosen this college was that it had a co-op program. It was also one of the only schools to offer both an arts and business program. I wanted to study social sciences; however, I also wanted to study the business side of things. The University of Waterloo let me do exactly that.
Great math education and coop! Waterloo is known for these 2 things and that's what drove me here. I want to be a math teacher and to me, having a very strong math background was important so that I can truly help students thrive in the subject.
I opted for this particular school because it was known as a great school and I had the opportunity to do co-op. I was also interested in the human body and nutrition and want to pursue something later in that field as a career.
The University of Waterloo is world-renowned for its cooperative education program and it is a great way to get job experience related to your field of study while you are still in school. This gives a great advantage when students graduate.
This university had the stream I was interested in and had a co-op program where I can gain relevant work. It was close to my home and gave a decent scholarship to me based on my grades. As a result, I chose this university.
Waterloo has a good reputation for this program and is well known for its research. I was also looking at Waterloo because I had a sibling that attended Waterloo for their undergrad in a different program.
I chose this college because of the prestige and co-op opportunities. Co-op is a big factor because it allows for you to gain practical work experience and money to pay off student loans. Many Waterloo graduates land a job quickly after graduation.
Waterloo has a huge name in Software Engineering and AI. I wanted to work in an interdisciplinary field of SE and AI, so this place was the best fit for me. Furthermore, there is opportunities for good scholarships, lots of funds & grants, amazing professors in the field of SE, well structured programs, and top SE companies hire a lot of people from UWaterloo.
I chose this university because of its world-renowned engineering faculty and diversity. There are many specialization options in my program which will help me to focus on a particular field of study, i.e. AI/ML. Also, due to an enormous alumni network, there are many networking opportunities that can help in landing a job or an internship at good companies.
