Furthermore, there is opportunities for good scholarships, lots of funds & grants, amazing professors in the field of SE, well structured programs, and top SE companies hire a lot of people from UWaterloo.
Course Curriculum
The course syllabus is quite up-to-date. There are relevant courses in each topic based on whether you want to focus on industry or research.

Placement
People who get out of Engineering (especially in the field of Software Engineering) have been offered SDE roles on top companies and Ph.D. offers from Ivy Leagues.

Prof. Werner Dietl and Prof. Vijay Ganesh are one of the top professors in their field. They are excellent teachers and amazing mentors. Getting an opportunity to work with them feels incredible!
Campus Life
There are multiple clubs which covers all sorts of extracurricular activities. The research facilities and labs are up-to-date.

I live in an on-campus 2 bedroom apartment that costs me 800 CAD.
