This university had the stream I was interested in and had a co-op program where I can gain relevant work. It was close to my home and gave a decent scholarship to me based on my grades. As a result, I chose this university.
Course Curriculum
The workload is very hard and can be challenging at times however since it?s 4 months school and 4 months co-op, it provides a break from the constant academics. This allows me to gain real-life knowledge.
Fees
We have to pay through an online portal where our semester fees are managed. There is also a co-op charge that comes attached to it.
Examination Structure
We have two major exams at our university. The midterm is taken in individual classes and usually counts around 20 % of our final grade. The final exam, which is around 60% of our grade, is taken in the gym.
Faculty
Engineering at UWaterloo is the biggest faculty at this university so a lot of money is invested by the university into this program to get new buildings and learning materials.
