OCAD University Undergraduate Admissions
OCAD University offers three kinds of undergraduate degrees- Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Bachelor of Design (Bides), and Bachelor of Arts (BA). Most courses at OCAD require four years of full-time study to complete. The basic admission process for all the courses is the same.

- For BA in Visual and Critical Studies -a combination of a review of a written assignment, a statement of intent, and the applicant’s academic records.
- For BFA in Creative Writing program - a writing portfolio will be reviewed in addition to academic transcripts and other required supporting documents.
- All other studio programs (Bachelor Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts) -on basis of the assessment of the applicant's portfolio of work in addition to academic transcripts and other supporting documents.
