Ontario College Of Art and Design (OCAD) offers 17 courses for undergraduate applicants and seven courses for graduate applicants. OCAD University has an acceptance rate between 40% to 50%, thus it is averagely selective. The applications for courses at OCAD are accepted during the Fall, Summer, and Winter semesters.

Applications for UG and PG courses are accepted through OUAC and OCAD App, respectively.
Application deadlines for OCAD graduate programs are accepted till March 15, 2022.

OCAD University Admission Deadlines

OCAD University Undergraduate Admissions

OCAD University offers three kinds of undergraduate degrees- Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA), Bachelor of Design (Bides), and Bachelor of Arts (BA). Most courses at OCAD require four years of full-time study to complete. The basic admission process for all the courses is the same.

Admission Requirements:

For BA in Visual and Critical Studies -a combination of a review of a written assignment, a statement of intent, and the applicant’s academic records.
For BFA in Creative Writing program - a writing portfolio will be reviewed in addition to academic transcripts and other required supporting documents.
All other studio programs (Bachelor Design, Bachelor of Fine Arts) -on basis of the assessment of the applicant's portfolio of work in addition to academic transcripts and other supporting documents.
