I opted for the University of Waterloo because it has a co-op and it is well known. Additionally, it is somewhat close to home. I can live on campus while being in close enough proximity to go home. I like to live on my own.
Course Curriculum :
My opinion on the course curriculum is that every course is really hard. I think they should make it easier and less work.
Fees :
The fees break down to tuition, coop fee, work term work report marking fee, and a math endowment fund. A lot of these fees could be avoided and feels unnecessary. The math endowment fund - I'm not sure where that money goes.
Examination Structure :
The exam structure is okay, there are several midterms and the exam is 50%-60% which is a lot. The exam structure is usually pretty difficult and they curve the marks most of the time. I would say they should just make it easier instead of making it hard and curving it.
Faculty :
It's the only college with a math faculty so that's cool. That means that I can graduate with a Bachelor of Mathematics which is really rare. I like the professors.
