Master of Science [M.S] [Physics] From University of Waterloo

Academic Eligibility:

• Students should have an Honours Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Science with at least a 75% standing
• Graduate Record Examination (GRE) Physics subject test scores for all students who have completed their post-secondary education outside of Canada
• Proof of English proficiency may be required for international applicants, whose first language is not English.
• Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.
• CAEL - Canadian Academic English Language.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

• Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Completed a master’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.

• M.Sc in physics’s graduate program offers opportunities at the forefront of research in both experimental and theoretical physics.
• Department of Physics has a partnership with the Perimeter Institute of Theoretical Physics which gives graduate students a prime opportunity to work on the most challenging questions today in quantum gravity, cosmology, astrophysics, and quantum computing.
• Students interested in the most exciting and rapidly emerging areas of experimental research, The department has developed an Institute for Quantum Computing that has brought together researchers in optics, condensed matter physics, mathematics, and computer science to work on the challenging experimental problems in quantum information theory.
