Master of Engineering [M.Eng] [Mechanical Engineering] From University of Waterloo

Academic Eligibility:

• The candidate must obtain a pass in all courses credited to his or her program, with a minimum overall average of 70% (A grade of less than 65% in any course counts as a failure (F)).
• Eight, one-term Engineering graduate-level courses (or courses acceptable for graduate credit)
  • Four of the eight courses must be from the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Department
  • Two out of the eight one-term graduate-level courses must be taken from the approved list of core graduate courses.
  • Only two out of the eight courses can be 500-level.
• Academic Integrity Quiz.
• Students must be qualified in IELTS or TOEFL to get admission to this program.
• An English for Multilingual Speakers (EMLS) technical/professional course is normally required for all students who were not English Language Proficiency (ELP) exempt at the time of admission.

Indian Student Eligibility:

Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:

• Completed a 4-year UG degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
• Completed a master’s degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
