Paul Foundation scholarships

The Paul Foundation Scholarships are offered to the Indian students who wish to carry on their higher education in India or study abroad. The scholarship is given to the students who wish to pursue post-graduation and Doctoral studies. Diploma and short-term courses are also covered.

  • The subjects covered under this scholarship are humanities, social and applied science, basic science, fine arts, performing arts, medical, engineering, law management and new media art.
  • Students must have a first-class UG or/and PG degree.
  • They should be below 30 years of age while applying.
  • Students must apply through online or offline mode to be considered for the scholarships.
  • Recipients will get 15 lakh INR as financial assistance.

The selection committee will evaluate the candidate’s academic background and personal statements. Also, they will be interviewed before the final list of selected students is revealed.

Eligibility Criteria

To secure the Paul Foundation scholarships, applicants must meet the eligibility criteria listed below:

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India and below 30 years of age.
  • Must possess a first-class degree in the previous examinations of UG or PG level.
  • Must submit their application to the university with the choice of the subjects in the respective fields.
  • Must confirm their admissions by providing some proof before the interview to be conducted by the selection committee.

Candidates seeking for merit cum means scholarship should provide the family income proof certificate issued by the concerned authorities at the time of application.


Application Process

External applications must be submitted by the prospective candidates. This can be done either by obtaining the application from the office of the Paul foundation or download the application form from its official website.

  • Candidates must complete the application form with all the relevant details like:
    • academic and co-curricular achievements
  • A personal statement of 2000 words regarding the academic profile and subject area of interest.
  • The application forms must be sent via post or directly submitted to the office of the paul foundation.

The application form must also be accompanied by a copy of the receipt of admission in one top-ranked Indian Universities or abroad. The applications can be sent via post to the following address:

Selection Process

Recipients of the Paul Foundation scholarship are evaluated based on the following documents:

  • Academic Records
  • Personal Statement

Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Candidates are required to be available in India for the same.

The final interviews are scheduled in the month of June and July every year before the final decision is taken.


Grant Details

Paul Foundation scholarships are provided by the Paul foundation with the objective of providing opportunities to young students who want to pursue their higher studies in India.

The scholarships are also applicable to US universities, Canadian Universities, UK Universities, German Universities, Australian Universities, etc.

Students selected under this scholarship scheme are eligible for a grant of 15 lakhs INR per year which can be used to cover tuition fees or other expenses.
