JEE Main Question Paper for September 2, 2021 Forenoon session was rated to be average in terms of difficulty. The September 2, 2021 sessions (both forenoon and afternoon) were held exclusively for admissions into B. Arch and B. Planning courses, meaning that no B.tech/B.E. Paper was held on September 2, 2021. For the B.Arch exam (Paper 2A) candidates needed to bring their own pencils, erasers, and other drawing equipment. B.Arch Exam Pattern (Paper 2A) included 3 sections in total - Mathematics, Aptitude Test, and Drawing test. The total number of questions was 82, out of which 77 were to be attempted by candidates. B.Planning Exam Pattern (Paper 2B) included 105 questions across 3 sections - Mathematics, Aptitude, and Planning Questions. Candidates needed to attempt any 100 Questions. JEE Main 2021 B.Arch/B.Planning Question Paper September 2 (FN): Difficulty Level
JEE Main September 2, 2021 Forenoon (Shift 1) paper was conducted from 9.00 AM till 12.00 Noon for Paper 2A and 9.00 AM to 12.30 Noon for Paper 2B. A brief analysis of the paper is as follows
B.Arch
- The difficulty level of the B.Arch paper was moderate.
- Mathematics was the toughest section of the paper with the majority of questions based on 3D Geometry; Sets, relations & Functions; Coordinate Geometry & Straight Lines; Calculus
- The Aptitude Section of the paper was moderate in difficulty with more questions based on Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability.
- For Drawing Section, 2 Questions were provided to the candidate - One upon making a Portrait of a Sardaar Standing at the Golden Temple. The other on sketching the traditional market the candidate has visited. View JEE Main B.Arch Syllabus
B.Planning
- The overall paper was rated to be of moderate difficulty
- The mathematics section was common to both papers.
- The Aptitude section was also common too both the papers
- For the third section (Planning Sections) questions were mostly framed from general knowledge about Indian architecture and current affairs
