No JEE Main Paper 2 result 2023 scorecard is sent to the candidates via post. Candidates are required to download their scorecards online. NTA does not entertain any re-evaluation/ re-checking of JEE Main 2023 Paper 2 Result. Once released, the scores mentioned on the scorecard are final. Candidates who qualify JEE Main 2023 Cut off are called for further admission process and counselling.
The top 2,50,000 rank holders will also be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2023 Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) for architecture admissions at participating IITs.

JEE Main 2023 Paper 2 Result for B.Arch and B.Plan
- JEE Main 2023 Paper 2 Result for B.Arch/B.Plan is announced online. No other mode is used by the conducting authorities to convey the results to the candidates.
- For preparing the rank list of JEE Main 2023 B.Arch/B.Plan paper, Class XII marks will not be considered for normalization. As the inclusion of Class XII marks for normalisation has been scrapped from 2017.
- The result is compiled on the basis of the final JEE Main 2023 answer key released by NTA.
- All India Rank (AIR) secured by the candidates is used for admission into institutes like NITs, IITs and CFTIs through Joint Seat Allocation (JoSAA) and Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB).
- Other Institutes/colleges that accept JEE Main ranks for admission but are not part of the centralized admission process will release their own rank list as per their criteria.
How to Check JEE Main 2023 Paper 2 Result?
Candidates can check their JEE Main 2023 Paper 2 result for B.Arch and B.Planning by following the steps mentioned below:
- Step 1: Visit the official website of JEE Main 2023 i.e. jeemain.nta.ac.in.
- Step 2: Click on the link and select result of JEE Main B.Arch/B.Plan
- Step 3: Now candidates will have to provide their JEE Main 2023 Application number and password/date of birth.
- Step 4: Click on “Submit”.
- Step 5: The Result will be displayed on screen containing details such as name of the candidate, marks secured in each subject, total score, Category Rank etc.
- Step 6: Download the Result

JEE Main 2023 Paper 2 Result- Score Compilation for B.Arch/ B.Plan
- JEE Main 2023 Paper 2 Result for B.Arch & B.Plan is declared in the form of raw scores and percentile of the raw scores. Students can check their section-wise percentile and the overall percentile score in JEE Main scorecard.
- The method of compilation of results for both the papers i.e. B. Arch (Paper 2A) and B.Plan (Paper 2B) is the same, even if two separate papers are conducted for both the courses.

- Calculation of raw marks using JEE Main 2023 Marking Scheme.

- There may be some situations when two or more candidates secure the same score in JEE Main 2023 B.Arch or B.Plan Result. The inter-se-merit will be considered by the authorities during such circumstances.
- Although the method of compilation of the result is the same for both JEE Main papers- B.Arch and B.Plan, the tie-breaking process is a bit different for them. Check JEE Main Score Normalization Process
- In order to break the tie for admissions, the following steps will be taken into consideration:
JEE Main Tie-Breaking Criteria for B.Arch
- Candidates obtaining a higher NTA score in Mathematics will be given higher AIR.
- Candidates obtaining a higher NTA score in General Aptitude Test will be considered next.
- Candidates obtaining higher NTA scores in the Drawing Test will be ranked higher.
- Fourthly, even if the tie remains, then candidates older in age will be ranked higher.
- At last, If the resolution is still not possible, then candidates will be ranked the same.
JEE Main Tie-Breaking Criteria for B.Plan
- Candidates obtaining a higher NTA score in Mathematics will be given higher AIR.

Ans. The normalization criteria for the examination is as follows:
- Calculation of normalized marks is done without considering the Class XII marks.
- Candidates with 75% marks (65% for reserved categories) in Class XII will qualify for JEE Advanced.
- Candidates within the top 20 percentile in their state board also qualify for JEE Main Counselling.
- Normalization is calculated with the number of candidates in the group with aggregate marks less than the candidate divided by the total number of candidates and multiplied by 100.
