GMAC releases a list of Participating Institutes in NMIMS Management Aptitude Test. More than 35 B-schools India consider NMAT score for admissions to postgraduate programs. Numerous B Schools in South Africa, Philippines, and Nigeria also accept NMAT Exam scores.
NMAT is a national level test conducted by Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC). It has a 88 day long testing window. While filling NMAT 2020 Application Form candidates can apply to 7 institutes/programs of their choice.
The examination is conducted across 66 test centres across 52 cities throughout India and at 4 International centres in online mode. The coordinating body has given liberty to the candidates like:
- Scheduling the day and time of the exam
- Choosing the exam centre
- Rescheduling the exam
- Retaking the exam (Maximum 3 retakes are allowed)

NMAT by GMAC 2020 Admission Criteria
- NMAT by GMAC Result will be declared online in the 3rd week of January 2021.
- The test takers will be intimated about it on their registered email ID.
- They will be short-listed on the basis of NMAT by GMAC score.
- The test score of the candidates will be sent to the preferred NMAT participating institute which they chose at the time of registration.
- No separate call letters will be sent to the candidates by any of the participating Institutes.
Steps involved in NMAT Selection Process
- NMAT by GMAC Selection Process involves 3 steps- Test Score, Group Discussion and a Personal Interview.
- Students will be shortlisted on the basis of test scores and later will be called for CD and PI rounds.
- The final selection will be on the basis of performance in CD/PI rounds.
- These rounds will be conducted at Mumbai and Bangalore Campuses.
- Candidates must carry their NMAT by GMAC admit card along with NMAT by GMAC Score card to the designated center.
The admissions in various institutes will be solely based on merit of the candidates. The different participating institutions will release their separate cut offs based on which candidates will be called for CD and PI Rounds. The section wise cuff off for NMAT by GMAC will vary as per the following range:-
