MP BEd Admission is done based on a state-level entrance exam conducted by the Professional Examination Board (PEB) of Madhya Pradesh. MP Pre BEd Entrance Exam is the state-level entrance examination, that candidates must qualify to appear for the MP BEd Admissions 2023.

BEd is a two-year undergraduate degree program for aspiring teachers. BEd Admission in India is done based on an entrance exam in most states and universities. However, several universities offer merit-based admission to the BEd course.

MP BEd Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The MP BEd Eligibility Criteria is mentioned below:

  • There is no age limit to apply for MP BEd admission.
  • A minimum of 50% marks in Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Science/Social Science/Humanity/Commerce from a recognized university.
  • The candidates must be a citizen of India and permanent residents of the Madhya Pradesh state.

Ans. IGNOU offers a distance B.Ed program with a duration of 3 years. For pursuing B.Ed from IGNOU, the candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria. The candidates should have minimum marks of 50% from a bachelor's degree or master’s degree with any stream (science/commerce/arts). The students who have successfully completed NCTE recognized teacher education courses in an offline mode can also apply. A diploma or trained in-service teacher is now an additional elementary education required for enrollment into B.Ed program in IGNOU. There is a 5% relaxation scheme for SC/ST and PWD candidates as per the guidelines of the central government. Entrance examination: For any candidates who wish to pursue B.Ed from IGNOU compulsory to appear for the entrance examination conducted by IGNOU. Without the entrance test, there is no acceptance for B.Ed admission. The final admission is based on the merit list with the consideration of the entrance score.
