Jharkhand BEd Admission 2023 is conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (JCECEB). Jharkhand BEd Admission is done based on a state-level entrance examination. Jharkhand BEd 2023 application forms have been released online. Candidates can apply for the Jharkhand BEd admission 2023 from February 10, 2023. JCECEB extended the last date to apply for Jharkhand BEd Admission to March 31, 2023.  

To be eligible for Jharkhand BEd Admission 2023 candidates must have passed with a minimum of 50% marks in their undergraduate or postgraduate degree in the Social Science, Science, Humanities or Commerce stream and a minimum of 55% marks in case of an engineering or Science stream.

BEd is a 2-year professional Teacher Training Course. Candidates must have completed their graduation to be eligible to apply for the BEd course. Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination or JCECE will be conducted on May 13, 2023. The exam will be an OMR-based entrance test, and the Jharkhand BEd Admit card will be released some days before the entrance exam.

Jharkhand BEd Admission Process 2023

To apply for Jharkhand BEd Admission 2023 candidates must apply online through the official websites.

  • Candidates must visit the official website @jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/
  • They must apply online for the Jharkhand BEd 2023 Exam and fill in the necessary details required for the form.
  • After filling out the application form, candidates must pay the application fee and submit the application form.

  • Educational Qualifications: To be eligible to apply for Jharkhand BEd Admission 2023, candidates must have successfully completed their undergraduate or postgraduate degree. They must score a minimum of 50 - 55% marks in their undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree.

Jharkhand B.Ed Admission 2023: Exam Pattern

  • The Jharkhand BEd Entrance Exam will be held in an offline OMR based format
  • The exam is an MCQ-type entrance exam that will be of 100 marks.
  • For each correct answer, candidates will score 1 mark, and for each incorrect answer, there will be a negative marking of 0.25.

Ans. IGNOU offers a distance B.Ed program with a duration of 3 years. For pursuing B.Ed from IGNOU, the candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria. The candidates should have minimum marks of 50% from a bachelor's degree or master’s degree with any stream (science/commerce/arts). The students who have successfully completed NCTE recognized teacher education courses in an offline mode can also apply. A diploma or trained in-service teacher is now an additional elementary education required for enrollment into B.Ed program in IGNOU. There is a 5% relaxation scheme for SC/ST and PWD candidates as per the guidelines of the central government. Entrance examination: For any candidates who wish to pursue B.Ed from IGNOU compulsory to appear for the entrance examination conducted by IGNOU. Without the entrance test, there is no acceptance for B.Ed admission. The final admission is based on the merit list with the consideration of the entrance score. Application procedure: Visit the original website of IGNOU and click on the declaration button to continue. Fill out the application form by entering the program code and further you will get an enrollment number for the login process.
