Maharashtra BEd Admission 2023 portal has been launched by the Maharashtra CET Cell. The MAH BEd CET 2023 Exam Date has been released on January 08, 2023. The MAH BEd CET 2023 was conducted on April 02, 2023, for the B.A./B.Sc. B.Ed.(Four-Year Integrated Course) and will be conducted on April 23, 24, 25, 2023 for the B.Ed & ELCT( English Language Content Test) course.

Maharashtra BEd Admission 2023 is done based on the state-level entrance exam MAH BEd CET. The Maharashtra CET Cell conducts the Maharashtra BEd Application Process through the MAH BEd CET Application Process. Maharashtra BEd Admission Process 2023 was ongoing from March 03 to March 14, 2023, for candidates seeking Maharashtra BEd Admission 2023 to the four-year integrated course. For other candidates, the registration process was open from March 09 – 18, 2023. 

MAH BEd CET is the only way to seek admission to the BEd course in Maharashtra. A BEd is a 2-year teacher training program that can be done after completion of an undergraduate program in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.

Maharashtra BEd Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Maharashtra State CET Cell determines the eligibility criteria for the Maharashtra BEd Admission 2023. Candidates must fulfill all the eligibility criteria to be eligible for Maharashtra BEd Admission 2023. Following is the detailed Maharashtra BEd Eligibility Criteria that the applicants must meet to sit for the MAH BEd entrance exam.

  • A minimum of 50% marks for the general category and 45% marks for backward classes including SC/ST/OBC/SBC either in Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree.
  • Applicants must be a citizen of India.
  • Final year students with Bachelor’s degrees or Master’s degrees are eligible to apply.

Candidates must follow the following mentioned steps while applying for the MAH BEd Admission 2023. 

  • Candidates must register first before filling up the application form. During registration, provide details like contact details, email ID, etc.
  • After registration, login credentials will be generated. Candidates are required to use the credentials to log in and fill up the application form. 
  •  Provide the asked details and upload the scanned documents in the prescribed format.
  • Select exam centers for MAH BEd admission 2023.
  • Submit the fees online through net banking, debit card, or credit card.
  • Download a copy of the receipt and save it.

Maharashtra BEd Admission 2023: Admit Card

Candidates must fill their application form correctly. Candidates will be notified of their admit card on their registered email ID or phone number. To download the admit card, candidates must visit the official website and click on the link MAH BEd CET 2023. Enter the login details and download the admit card. Applicants should check the details mentioned on the admit card to avoid any errors.

Maharashtra BEd Admission 2023: CET Result

The tentative date for the release of the Maharashtra BEd CET results is the 1st week of August. The merit list will be published by the Commissioner for the Entrance Test (CET) on the official website. Upon publication of the result, the selected candidates will be called for counseling process. 

Maharashtra BEd Admission 2023: Counseling 

The counseling process will begin after the release of the written scorecard. The selected candidates will be called for the counseling process to select their institute/college as per their preferences.

  • Candidates must register for CAP Counseling at the official website.
  • Enter login details and fill out the CAP counseling form.
  • Upload the asked documents in the prescribed format.
  • Pay the CAP counseling form fee.
  • Candidates are required to pay INR 200 for the MAH BEd CAP counseling fee.

Ques. Is final year students eligible to apply for MAH BEd admission 2023?

Ans. Yes, final year Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree students are eligible for MAH BEd admission 2023. But they must provide their mark sheet during the counseling process.

Ques. What is MAH BEd CET 2023 Exam Pattern to seek Maharashtra BEd Admission 2023?

Ans. MAH BEd CET exam will be conducted online in both English and Marathi medium. The exam duration is 90 minutes and the total marks are 100. MAH BEd CET 2023 Exam will be objective-based. But the BEd ELCT exam will be of 50 marks and the duration is 60 minutes.

Ans. IGNOU offers a distance B.Ed program with a duration of 3 years. For pursuing B.Ed from IGNOU, the candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria. The candidates should have minimum marks of 50% from a bachelor's degree or master’s degree with any stream (science/commerce/arts). The students who have successfully completed NCTE recognized teacher education courses in an offline mode can also apply. A diploma or trained in-service teacher is now an additional elementary education required for enrollment into B.Ed program in IGNOU. There is a 5% relaxation scheme for SC/ST and PWD candidates as per the guidelines of the central government. Entrance examination: For any candidates who wish to pursue B.Ed from IGNOU compulsory to appear for the entrance examination conducted by IGNOU. Without the entrance test, there is no acceptance for B.Ed admission. The final admission is based on the merit list with the consideration of the entrance score. Application procedure: Visit the original website of IGNOU and click on the declaration button to continue. Fill out the application form by entering the program code and further you will get an enrollment number for the login process. After logging in, the payment process can be done by clicking the submit button. IGNOU displays the hall ticket for the term-end entrance examination (TEE).
