Goa BEd Admission 2023 is conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education (DHE), Government of Goa. The Goa BEd Application Process began on December 27, 2022. Goa BEd Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate for the Bachelor of Education Course must have passed and qualified a Bachelor or a Postgraduate Degree Examination of Goa University or from any other recognized and known University with an aggregate minimum score of 50% marks
  • In case a candidate is graduated with the BTech/BE Course, they mjust score a minimum of 55% marks in their undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen

Goa BEd Admission 2023: Merit List

  • Directorate of Higher Education(DHE), Goa releases the merit list consisting of the shortlisted candidates.
  • The merit list is made available in online mode. The Candidates must check the merit list from the official website and from time to time update.
  • The released merit list contains the full name, subject, admit card, registration number, ranking, and category of the candidate.
  • Merit List for the General category and the Reserved category are released separately.
  • Only the candidates with names on the merit list are eligible for the counseling round.

Goa BEd Admission 2023: Counseling Procedure

  • Goa BEd Counselling is conducted after the completion of the exam. The Candidate must attend the counseling at the allotted time and venue by the authority.
  • They must carry the required documents in an original format such as Reserved Category Certificate, Graduation/Post Graduation Certificate, etc.
  • The choices and preferences of the candidate are made clear in the counseling round.
  • Once the counseling round is complete, the candidates are allotted their final seats and college to commence with the course.
  • At the final stage, document verification and payment of fee will finalize the admission of the candidate.

Ans. IGNOU offers a distance B.Ed program with a duration of 3 years. For pursuing B.Ed from IGNOU, the candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria. The candidates should have minimum marks of 50% from a bachelor's degree or master’s degree with any stream (science/commerce/arts). The students who have successfully completed NCTE recognized teacher education courses in an offline mode can also apply. A diploma or trained in-service teacher is now an additional elementary education required for enrollment into B.Ed program in IGNOU. There is a 5% relaxation scheme for SC/ST and PWD candidates as per the guidelines of the central government. Entrance examination: For any candidates who wish to pursue B.Ed from IGNOU compulsory to appear for the entrance examination conducted by IGNOU. Without the entrance test, there is no acceptance for B.Ed admission. The final admission is based on the merit list with the consideration of the entrance score. Application procedure: Visit the original website of IGNOU and click on the declaration button to continue. Fill out the application form by entering the program code and further you will get an enrollment number for the login process. After logging in, the payment process can be done by clicking the submit button. IGNOU displays the hall ticket for the term-end entrance examination (TEE). The hall ticket can be downloaded by entering the program code and 9 digit enrollment number. Course fee: IGNOU charges a total of 50,000 amount course fees for 3 years of the B.Ed program. Cut-off: 50 candidates are taken for admission. Here is the detailed information of the expected IGNOU 2020 cut-off for the B.Ed program including all categories of students. Ans. A B.Ed from IGNOU has a similar value to a B.Ed through regular mode. The coursework is almost as taxing as a regular B.Ed. As for recruitment, your teaching skills will matter more than your institution. You can apply for private schools and Govt. jobs. Ans. Doing B.Ed from any university will be helpful if you put in the required effort by yourself. Kalinga University is a valid option for pursuing a B.Ed degree. Ans. Apart from IGNOU, no other university offers decent corresponding B.Ed degrees. It is better to join a regular B.Ed course in your nearest possible university or college. Ans. IGNOU B.Ed total fee is around INR 50,000 . You shouldn’t pay the course fee along with your application. The university will contact you separately for the payment of fees.  You need to pay the course fee through a Demand Draft drawn in favor of IGNOU.
