Bihar BEd Admission is done based on a state-level entrance exam and is conducted by Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga. LNMU Darbhanga issues the Bihar BEd CET exam form. LNMU has released the official notification to offer Bihar BEd Admission 2023. Registrations for the Bihar BEd Application Form were ongoing from February 20 to March 15, 2023. Candidates could submit the Bihar BEd Admission Form from March 16 – March 20, 2023, with a late fee of INR 500.

Bihar BEd Admission 2023 is based on a state-level entrance examination conducted by Lalit Narayan Mithila University (LNMU). Bihar B.Ed CET is a state-level exam conducted for admission to BEd programs in over 15 institutions in Bihar. The Bihar BEd CET to offer Bihar BEd Admission 2023 will be conducted on April 08, 2023. Bihar BEd CET Admit Card has been released on March 30, 2023.

B.Ed is a professional teacher training course that can be done in 2 years. Candidates must have completed their graduation to be eligible to apply for the B.Ed course. Candidates must qualify for the Bihar B.Ed CET to seek admission to the B.Ed course in Bihar.

Bihar B.Ed Admission Process 2023

Candidates must fill out the Bihar BEd application form online. The detailed application process is mentioned below.

  • Candidates must visit the official website @test.bihar-cetbed-lnmu.in/index to apply for the Bihar BEd admission 2023.
  • Fill in the application form with the necessary details such as contact information, address, educational qualifications, etc.
  • Upload all the required documents and images. After successfully uploading the documents, save the form and log in with the credentials.
  • Fill and submit the application form and the application fee and take a printout of the Bihar BEd Application Form 2023.

Bihar BEd Admission 2023: Eligibility Criteria

The detailed eligibility criteria for Bihar B.Ed admission is given below:

  • Candidates must have completed their undergraduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.
  • They must score a minimum of 50 - 55% aggregate marks to be eligible for Bihar BEd admission 2023.
  • To be eligible for the Distance BEd Program candidates must be an untrained service teacher or service teacher in an elementary school or must have completed a teacher training program recognized by the NCTE.

The Bihar BEd CET exam pattern is given below.

  • The Bihar BEd CET exam is conducted in online mode.

Ans. IGNOU offers a distance B.Ed program with a duration of 3 years. For pursuing B.Ed from IGNOU, the candidates need to meet the following eligibility criteria. The candidates should have minimum marks of 50% from a bachelor's degree or master’s degree with any stream (science/commerce/arts). The students who have successfully completed NCTE recognized teacher education courses in an offline mode can also apply. A diploma or trained in-service teacher is now an additional elementary education required for enrollment into B.Ed program in IGNOU. There is a 5% relaxation scheme for SC/ST and PWD candidates as per the guidelines of the central government. Entrance examination: For any candidates who wish to pursue B.Ed from IGNOU compulsory to appear for the entrance examination conducted by IGNOU. Without the entrance test, there is no acceptance for B.Ed admission. The final admission is based on the merit list with the consideration of the entrance score. Application procedure: Visit the original website of IGNOU and click on the declaration button to continue. Fill out the application form by entering the program code and further you will get an enrollment number for the login process. After logging in, the payment process can be done by clicking the submit button. IGNOU displays the hall ticket for the term-end entrance examination (TEE). The hall ticket can be downloaded by entering the program code and 9 digit enrollment number. Course fee: IGNOU charges a total of 50,000 amount course fees for 3 years of the B.Ed program.
