They had the best program for this major and it was very close by. They offered many options for placements including trips outside of Canada, placement in hospitals, community-based programs, schools, and mental health facilities.
I chose this particular college for the reputation of the program, the proximity of the school to my home, and the affordability of the school itself. These factors all added up to create an ideal situation for my attendance.
Because of the location and because of its credentials, I also saw a lot of reviews online and it seemed like the best option. There were only a few other options and they were all very far from downtown so this seemed like the best.
It was close to my home which is important since I am living with my parents. It was also easily accessible through public transport which is important because I do not own a car or carpool with someone. Moreover, I already completed a previous program there and wish to stay on that campus.
For the ECE program that allows me to learn about different developments about children and being able to work in the field right away. There is also many options after getting the diploma such as getting your bachelors either from the college itself or going to another school.
Time of admission was suitable for me,since I came to Toronto on November 2018 and wish to start the college as soon as possible and the only college which had Human Resources program and the starting date was January 2019 was George Brown College
My medical interest and my family have troubles because my grandfather had a hearing loss and due to less money he can't afford that and I want to do something meaningful and helpful for others so that no one has to suffer.
I had choosen 3 colleges that I had heard about from other students and friends in Canada, from those GBC sounded more interesting, their connections and location made sure I could like the place. Also the course was more detailed in what I wanted to do compared to the other colleges.
After having my honors in Psychology, I applied for university, but the competition for a masters degree is a lot. Along with the fees someone has to pay as an International student. I went with this program after fully understanding what I can expect from it. The opportunities it gives me to network with the experts in the field are a lot. In my first semester, I met more than 10 industry experts. The exposure you will get and help from the instructors makes you feel that the money you invest in the program is worth everything. Canada being a safe country made my parents get a sense of relief.
