My own opinion is that the course is fun you make friends and learn a lot about sports recreation centres and more
For me it was $500 per semester
The course curriculum is up to date with the latest development in the field and we need to do a capstone project in our final semester to gain industry exposure.
17,060 CAD is the program fee.
The programs are a mix of academics and practical aspects, the focus on experiential learning than mugging up, exams are very practical and test the knowledge application than acquisition.
I applied to Humber college specifically, it being the best in the Ontario for the TESL program, also it’s faculty and proximity to city made it the best choice for me.
The first year is like learning how to walk. So all the stuff available in business is added to the mix and most of it is like general stuff, Content identical to the one taught to someone in 12th grade Commerce in India. After that, each student takes a step toward what they wanna work as in business by choosing a major. With the onset of the second year, courses are set depending on the major one will pick. Fun, informative and relevant course work in general.
My other two real siblings were part of Humber and they always appreciated what the college had to offer. Both of them were able to secure reasonably good jobs after completing their respective programs. On the other hand, it didn't make sense to spend absurd amounts of money on a university degree whereas I can learn the same skillset here and apply it in practical work-life settings before Degree holders. The last reason was how Humber has a really strong business administration program
I got to experience everything related to communication and journalism which is what I wanted. Education without wasting my time on other areas and focusing solely on my field of interest. Courses on how to write and how to use social media are all part of the course curriculum. I love photography and journalism and photography go hand in hand and we are taught everything assuming we don't know anything about the field beginning from ground level zero.
Humber is controlled by the University of Guelph which is one of the best universities in Canada. Everyone working in education has heard about Humber somehow at least in Ontario. It's rated better than its competitors like Sheridan or George Brown and has partnered up with more employers too. Humber is well known for its huge international population too which makes it more exciting since I met people from different countries and cultures.
It was a great curriculum, it was updated and the professors were professionals that currently work in the government so they experience and lessons were very relevant.
I chose Humber because they had the best Public Administration program
In Academics, it has both practical and research ways of teaching. Lectures are flexible to attend.
32,000 CAD
To be honest, I would highly recommend the course I did (Research Analyst) because you would get to learn a lot about how to analyze data and dive deep into the qualitative as well as quantitative data analysis methods. The second semester is very challenging but it will be worth it!
Because Humber along with George brown is considered to be one of the best colleges in Toronto.
It is good so far. It gets a little hectic at times but there's a lot of learning.
The fees was $9000 per semester. International scholarship was very limited. However, fees in Canada is much lesser than other countries like UK and Australia which is also a reason why me and a lot of other students consider Canada as an option to study and work in even after the harsh weather conditions that it has.
The fee structure for international students was generally high. For my 1st semester, I had paid $8000 and the same was for the rest of my 3 semesters. The fees also included medical insurance for international students as well as charges for the books and other resources provided by the college.
One of my friends had suggested this college. The application process was done by one of the agencies I applied through. I chose this college as it had a 2 years certificate course related to my background. Humber professors bring a wealth of relevant industry experience to the classroom. Class sizes are small, and simulation labs and work placements bridge the gap between classroom and industry. We put theory into practice from day one, which is important because work-integrated learning means you will have experience working in your industry before you graduate.
