The campus placement cell is good. OCS is the name of the placement cell. Students with 4 year program can sit for placement in 4th year i.e. end of the 7th semester. Also if you are applying for an internship you can apply at the start of the 5th semester. BCG, JP Morgan, and many companies visit.

My plan is to work for 2 years and then pursue a master's from a foreign University.

Numerous large businesses visit IIT Delhi and make ten to fifteen offers. Some Quantitative Research Organizations provide high packages but few offers. The average amounts to about 15 LPA and the highest to about 3.5Cr. 30% of students have other ambitions, such as entrepreneurship, business, or higher education, while the remaining 70% of students are placed. We can apply for internships in our third year, and some students receive PPOs with respectable pay from these internships.

Campus placements start in the 7th semester and are kept in sync with the Office of Career Services (OCS), IITD. About 70% get placed and others go for fields like entrepreneurship, a master's degree, UPSC, etc.

Highest package goes to around 3.5Cr and lowest to about 12LPA About 70% students get placed and rest 30% have other plans such as entreprenaurship, or business or higher studies. In 3rd year we can apply for internships and some students get PPOs from these internships at a decent package.
