IIT Delhi M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. (Engineering) /M.Sc./ M.C.A./MBBS/ M.Pharm./B.Pharm. with 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA.
- Candidates must have relevant specialization in the qualifying examination.
Note: 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates
IIT Delhi M.Tech and Integrated M.Tech Selection Criteria:
- Admission will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in GATE.
- IIT B.tech graduates with a minimum of 8.00 CGPA are exempted from the GATE exam score requirement.
- COAP will allocate seats for the M.Tech program of IIT Delhi.
- IIT Graduates will be selected as per Personal Interview performance.

IIT Delhi admission to various UG and PG courses is conducted through national-level entrance examinations. Admission to IIT Delhi’s flagship B.Tech program is done on the basis of rank secured in the JEE Advanced. Registrations for the same usually begin in the month of July, after the completion of all the phases of JEE Main examination. Candidates must qualify the JEE Main examination in order to appear for the JEE Advanced exam. For the further admission process, candidates are required to register for JoSAA counselling for the seat allotment process that starts after JEE Advanced result declaration. There are 6 rounds of counselling and seats are allocated on the basis of parameters like JEE Advanced rank, availability of seats, category, etc. For the most sought B.Tech CSE stream, JEE Advanced cut-off for the general category ranges between 99 - 432. For admission to other courses such as B.Des, M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, M.Des, IIT Delhi accepts UCEED, GATE, JAM, CAT, and CEED entrance exams, respectively. Candidates may need to appear for the GD/PI round for the final selection process. Along with UG and PG programs, IIT Delhi provides PhD programs under various disciplines. The selection criteria for MBA at IIT Delhi are as follows
- A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent awarded by any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent.
- A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or 6.75 CGPA on a 10-point scale or equivalent in the qualifying degree.
- A relaxation of 5% in marks (i.e. min. 55%) or equivalent in CGPA (i.e. min. 6.25 on a 10-point scale) for the SC/ST candidates.
- Relaxation in criteria for PH candidates may be as per the Institute rules.
Anyone who meets the above criteria is eligible for admission to DMS, IIT Delhi, provided he clears the interview round.

Can we complete our MA in English in IIT Delhi or any other IITs? If yes, what is the admission procedure?
No, IIT Delhi does not provide MA in English. Some other IITs do provide humanities programs, for instance, IIT Madras offers 5-year integrated MA courses in English as well as in Development Studies. Admission to these courses is done through an entrance test called HSEE.
Other IITs have their own net above tests for the specific humanities programs offered and details can be sought from the official website of respective colleges. Additionally, some IITs also offer Ph.D. programs in different humanities disciplines including English literature.

Admission to the MSc Cognitive Science program by IIT Delhi is based on scores in any of the following national-level entrance exams:
