IIT Delhi M.Tech Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have passed B.E./B.Tech./M.Sc. (Engineering) /M.Sc./ M.C.A./MBBS/ M.Pharm./B.Pharm. with 60% marks or an equivalent CGPA.
- Candidates must have relevant specialization in the qualifying examination.
Note: 5% relaxation for SC/ST candidates
IIT Delhi M.Tech and Integrated M.Tech Selection Criteria:
- Admission will be granted on the basis of the candidate’s performance in GATE.
- IIT B.tech graduates with a minimum of 8.00 CGPA are exempted from the GATE exam score requirement.
- COAP will allocate seats for the M.Tech program of IIT Delhi.
- IIT Graduates will be selected as per Personal Interview performance.

- General/ OBC/ EWS:INR 200 + Bank charges
- SC/ ST/ PwD: INR 50 + Bank charges
GATE 2023 Qualifying Cutoff (Expected)
GATE 2023 qualifying cutoff is the minimum mark required to register for the COAP 2023 counselling. There is a difference between the admission cutoff of the institute and minimum cutoff required for participation in the admission process/ counselling. How to Apply for IIT Delhi for admiison testing?

- Visit the official website of the applications portal of IIT-D.
- Click on the desired course.
- Click on the “Apply Online” button.
- Register as a new user by filling out the required details.
- Log in with your credentials and fill out the application form accurately.
- Enter academic qualifications.
- Pay the application fees and submit the application form.
Documents required
- Scanned copy of the Eligibility Certificate in pdf format
- Degree Certificate; or
- Provisional Certificate; or
- Certificate from the Head of the Department/Institute format, available in GOAPS website.
- Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format.
- Scanned passport size photograph of the candidate between 480×640 to 240×320 pixels in JPEG format.
- Scanned signature image can be between 160×560 to 80×280 pixels in JPEG format

IIT Delhi admission to various UG and PG courses is conducted through national-level entrance examinations. Admission to IIT Delhi’s flagship B.Tech program is done on the basis of rank secured in the JEE Advanced. Registrations for the same usually begin in the month of July, after the completion of all the phases of JEE Main examination. Candidates must qualify the JEE Main examination in order to appear for the JEE Advanced exam. For the further admission process, candidates are required to register for JoSAA counselling for the seat allotment process that starts after JEE Advanced result declaration. There are 6 rounds of counselling and seats are allocated on the basis of parameters like JEE Advanced rank, availability of seats, category, etc. For the most sought B.Tech CSE stream, JEE Advanced cut-off for the general category ranges between 99 - 432. For admission to other courses such as B.Des, M.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, M.Des, IIT Delhi accepts UCEED, GATE, JAM, CAT, and CEED entrance exams, respectively. Candidates may need to appear for the GD/PI round for the final selection process. Along with UG and PG programs, IIT Delhi provides PhD programs under various disciplines.
