Remarks :

Generally the eligibility criteria for the students are required to complete 10+2 education with physics, chemistry and mathematics as core subjects and have valid jee main scores. The counselling is done by Jossa Counselling.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Generally, Computer Science and engineering are the best courses at present, Most of the faculty Qualification is Ph.D., Faculty: the student ratio is 1:15 exams are very semester are two exams, which are mid-semester and end semester and exams are easy

Internships Opportunities :

So many students get internships at different companies like Microsoft, Flipkart, etc. and many more projects you will get in every semester the projects are really helpful during the placements.

Placement Experience :

6th semester onwards placements are started and companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe and highest package is 80 lakh per year and average package is 14 lakh per year and the placement percentage is 90%.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Generally, the fee depends on the category and income, if you are sc st, means tuition fee is 0 and if your parent's income is less than 1 lakh per year fee is 0 and if your parent between 1 lakh -5 lakh per year fee is 20000 per semester and if your parent's income above 5 lakhs tuition fee is 60000 you can also apply for student loan

Campus Life :

Library is Asia's biggest library and it has around 96000 books annually and tech fests are conducted every month like the Y20 fest, Tech fests and intra nit competitions conducts we have to play through different nits and startup center is also available which is run by the students

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is good ,Hostel and mess fee around 50000 per semseter The meal have the morning is tiffin and afternoon lunch is 2 curries and roti and mostly probably everday have non veg food .The room has common things like study table,almirah and bed.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is quite good. we cannot disclose the name of the company visiting the campus because the training and placement cell of NIT SILCHAR did not allow us to disclose the names of the companies. My plan after getting my degree is to go through the UPSC exam.

The College life at NIT SILCHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I was interested in this course. Here the faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:25 which is very good we can clarify our doubts by asking the faculty, the Qualification of the teaching method will mostly be the same, they are PhD, but their teaching experience plays a major role and their teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but it would be nice. Term exams would be around 5 months Difficulty in passing the exams depends on the faculty.

The placement season in the college is a very important one. Even before that, students get to do internships from 2nd year of BTech, providing them exposure to all kinds of companies and job sectors. All kinds of companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Uber make their way out here in search of bright minds capable of developing the companies further. They even provide the students with Pre Placement Offers, if their internship performance is commendable. The highest package goes upto above 2 crore INR per year, with average packages of above 25 lakhs INR per year. Above 85% of the students get placed in the end, with the others interested in higher studies. Nobody is left idle. My plans after BTech are to pursue a well paying job with a good working atmosphere.
