Dibrugarh University Admissions

Dibrugarh University allots the seat either on the basis of Merit list or rank obtained in the Entrance Exam conducted by the university. For each and every course eligibility criteria is different Let’s see the common eligibility criteria for getting admission:

The undergraduate Candidate must have completed 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 45% marks in Mathematics/Chemistry/Physics. Also, a relaxation of 5% marks is provided to the students of reserved categories as per the university norms.
A Postgraduate or master’s candidate should have completed graduation in any stream from the recognized college/university.
The basic criterion for selection is on the basis of the Merit list but there are some courses in which entrance exams score required.
Candidates can apply through an online mode of application.

How to apply?

Candidate need to visit the official website of the Dibrugarh University i.e.@dibru.ac.in
Candidates have to first register on the website.
After Registration students have to pay the fee via Netbanking, Debit Card(Visa, Master, Maestro), Credit Card, etc. as per the availability.
After that Acknowledgement slip is generated. The candidate needs to download the acknowledgment slip for future reference.

Dibrugarh University has a well-developed Training and Placement cell which is a necessary part of the university. The objective of this training and placement cell is to provide proper guidance and assistance to the graduates and postgraduate students. It organizes many pre-placement talks, Group discussions, written tests, Personal interviews, etc. so that students are aware of the process followed by many companies at the time of recruitment. The University has collaborated with 42 organizations for winter/summer Industrial Training.

Apart from this, more than 50 well-known companies visited in the previous years for hiring the student through placement drive. The companies such as Infosys, Cognizant Technologies Solutions Corporation, Value Labs, Subex, Oil India Limited, Numaligarh Refinery Ltd., ONGC, Go Speedy Go, Decathlon, Bitchem Asphalt Technologies Limited, Capgemini which were visited in the year of 2018-19 at the Dibrugarh University.
