Remarks :

The exam I have attempted is Jee Mains every student who has completed intermediate or class 12 can take the exam and attempt it. The application will be available on nta website or the Jeemain website. No reservation availed

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course I have taken is Electronics and Communication Engineering. The faculty-student ratio is around 3:80 The faculty are highly qualified and have completed their master's or doctorate in prestigious colleges. The exams are moderate and can be given by students who plan perfectly

Class Size : 100Course Fees : INR 22500 per year

Placement Experience :

As per my course the least is 5 lpa and the highest is 44 lpa. 90 + per cent placed. My plans are for planning to go for MS or complete mtech in another country. The companies visited for the campus are Hindustan petroleum, Bosch, Bharat Petroleum, hp, Dell etc

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are different scholarships for different reservation categories for SC and ST there is a specific scholarship named NSP. I am from the open category and I did not receive any scholarship from the campus.

Campus Life :

There are two different fests done every year named after incandescence and technosis. Each year one of the fests will be done alternately. All the sports are available on the campus. Students running organisations are NSS, NCC, GYANSAGAR, ILLUMNITS, OBETTIVOetc

Hostel Facilities :

The facilities available in the room are fan ved table cupboard The review of the food is to be a bit upgraded. There is no difference for students under affordability all the hostel are same. Registration is of paying fees and and taking the allotment room

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is quite good. we cannot disclose the name of the company visiting the campus because the training and placement cell of NIT SILCHAR did not allow us to disclose the names of the companies. My plan after getting my degree is to go through the UPSC exam.

The College life at NIT SILCHAR

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I was interested in this course. Here the faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:25 which is very good we can clarify our doubts by asking the faculty, the Qualification of the teaching method will mostly be the same, they are PhD, but their teaching experience plays a major role and their teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but it would be nice. Term exams would be around 5 months Difficulty in passing the exams depends on the faculty.

From the 6th sem onwards students are eligible for campus. As per the guidelines of the training and placement cell, the name of the company visited can't be disclosed. There are too many companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements get placed with a good package.

The placement season in the college is a very important one. Even before that, students get to do internships from 2nd year of BTech, providing them exposure to all kinds of companies and job sectors. All kinds of companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Uber make their way out here in search of bright minds capable of developing the companies further. They even provide the students with Pre Placement Offers, if their internship performance is commendable. The highest package goes upto above 2 crore INR per year, with average packages of above 25 lakhs INR per year. Above 85% of the students get placed in the end, with the others interested in higher studies. Nobody is left idle. In forth semester students become eligible for campus placements Major recruiters included Larsen & Toubro Ltd, Schlumberger, Piramal, TVS R&D, and GAIL, Indian companies like Reliance, Bajaj, Axis Bank, and ICICI Bank, also recruited at IIT Guwahati.
