IIT Jodhpur B.Tech is a 4 year full-time programme offered on the basis of entrance exam and seat allocation is through counselling. Cutoffs are released for admissions for various categories, fulfilling which applicants can apply for admission to B.Tech at IIT Jodhpur. 

IIT Jodhpur B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board and must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Maths as major subjects.

IIT Jodhpur B.Tech Selection Criteria

• The selection is based on JEE Advanced scores. JEE Main is merely a qualifying exam, to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced.
• Candidates who qualify the entrance exam will be called for JEE Advanced Counseling organized by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSSA).

How to Apply for GATE?

The applications are accepted through the official website of GOAPS. Where the applicant must register first to create a new registration using one unique email id. 

Documents Required

• Scanned photograph and signature 
• Valid Photo ID (Aadhaar Card/Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter ID/College ID/Employee Identification Card/Notarized Affidavit with Photo, Signature, Date of Birth and Residential Address).
• Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate/Course Completion Certificate.
• Copy of mark sheet of V /VI /VII semester.
• Final year students must submit Provisional Certificate Letter as per format issued by the Home of Institute/Dean/Registrar/Head of Dept.
• Candidates in the final year of AMIE have to submit their mark sheet for Section A of AMIE in case of professional equivalent qualifications.
• Caste Certificate/Disability or PwD Certificate (if applicable).
• Candidates pursuing a higher degree or masters have to submit the qualifying degree certificate.

COAP Registration

M.Tech admissions are also required to register through COAP. The applicants apply online on the official website. Eligibility criteria have been given below: 

Eligibility 

• The applicants must be GATE qualified and should have passed B.E/B.Tech with 6.5 CGPA (or 60%) for general/unreserved category (55% for reserved category).
• Provisional certificate is accepted if final scores are not released by the respective institution. But candidates must submit their final scores within the stipulated time given.
• Students who are GATE qualified will be considered before those who apply on the basis of the previous exam’s qualifying marks.

Note: GATE qualified students must apply through the official website of CCMT to be considered for counseling and admissions.

Under the School of Management and Entrepreneurship a flagship program of MBA is offered. It is a two-year-long program that offers specializations.

IIT Jodhpur MBA Eligibility Criteria

The candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the qualifying exam.

IIT Jodhpur MBA Selection Criteria

The Admission process consists of two stages:

STAGE 1:

Shortlisting based on the percentile of candidates in the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs.

• An initial shortlist shall be done based on the overall percentile in CAT. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for Personal Interview (PI)
• PI will be conducted online, where each shortlisted candidate will be interviewed by a panel of one or more experts.

Candidates having a CAT percentile of 98 or above will be exempted from the PI and will be considered for direct admission to the MBA program.

IIT Jodhpur M.Sc Eligibility Criteria 

• Candidate must have scored at least 55% marks in aggregate in case of General/ OBC category and 50% in case of SC/ST category
• For M.Sc. in Digital Humanities, the candidate must have done Bachelor’s Degree in disciplines of Basic Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities with minimum 60% marks

The candidate must have done a Bachelor's degree (minimum 3 years) in the relevant stream and have taken Maths at 10+2 level.

IIT Jodhpur has collaborated with some of the leading business schools in the world to offer MBA dual degree programs. The students in this program would earn an MBA degree from IIT Jodhpur and a Master’s degree from the partner B-School. The students will be doing their MBA core courses in the first year at IIT Jodhpur and specialized courses in the second year at one of the partner institutions abroad.

IIT Jodhpur MBA Dual Degree Eligibility Criteria

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent awarded by any UGC recognized or deemed university or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. 
• A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate or a CGPA of 6.0 on a 10-point scale. 
• A relaxation of 5% in marks (i.e., min. 55%) or equivalent in CGPA (i.e., min. 5.50 on a 10-point scale) for the SC/ST/DAP (Differently Abled Person) candidates.
• Candidates appearing for the final year of the bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination can also apply.
• A valid CAT score.

IIT Jodhpur MBA Dual Degree Selection Criteria

Selection of the candidates for the MBA Dual degree is a two-step process. 

Step 1: Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of CAT scores, academic profile, work experience, and significant achievement in extra-curricular activities.

Step 2: Final selection will be made on the basis of the Composite Merit List (CML) prepared by the institute.

IIT Jodhpur PhD Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must have completed a Master's degree in Pharmacy, Science, Humanities, Engineering, Agricultural Science, Social Sciences, etc. with minimum 60% marks for GEN/ OBC /GEN- EWS categories and 55% in case of SC/ST/PD categories.

IIT Jodhpur PhD Selection Criteria

• The selection in this course is based on a written test and interview which will be conducted by the Institute. 
• After that, the Institute will announce the list of qualified candidates.
• Students with GATE / UGC-NET / JRF / SLET are eligible to apply and appear directly for the interview. 
• These students will also be exempted from appearing for the internal examination.
