I like the coding culture that is in my college is excellent.
Placement oppurtunity given by vit is very good where every student is guarenteed to get atleast one job in hand when leaving the campus.
The college has a very good placement record, so we go out with flying colors
If we came to studies part it is very good opportunity to utilize in vit.
The placement training and orientation is very good and helps us get jobs.
Dislike
The research carried out by teachers is on very boring topics, something that doesnt inspire me at least.
In the final semester, students usually head out of VIT for internships for their final projects.
Our college always tries to show off their college placement records. They only show the icing on the cake, but the reality is often disappointing.
Loan facilities are bad, with an interest rate of 10 percent. If you have a scholarship and a CGPA of more than 8, you will receive 10,000 rupees. It is offered to students from poor backgrounds. The loan facilities provided by VIT universities are bad.
There are hardly any extracurricular activities, but even if there is an event, the management is very poor and always fails to send the information to everyone.
Preference is given to 9-pointers, which is a really stupid rule, and the hostels arent really affordable as well.
Some hostel blocks should have room changes, which are the only negative comment about VIT college.

I am a student in the BTech program at CSE. I opted for this course as anyone can see that the world is being driven to the tech era and I want to become a part of it. The faculties here are the same as of any other college. They have degrees, and experience but still, as a student, we have to do everything on our own. Faculties qualifications are Ph.D., and honours in their respective research field. Each class has about 70 students in it. Term exams were like there are 3 exams per semester 2 CATs and 1 FAT which is the final assessment test of the semester. Passing these exams surely is a difficult task but students somehow pull the task out.

The average package can also vary by program and company. On average, it may be competitive with industry standards.

Students are eligible for internships from the 3rd year and get placement opportunities from the 4th year, This year the highest package was 34 Lakhs per Annum, mostly all students get placed while completing their 4th year.
Campus placements, typically available from the third or fourth semester, offer a crucial bridge from academia to the professional world. Companies from various sectors visit colleges, offering different profiles and packages, both highest and average. The percentage of students placed varies by college, influenced by industry trends and the economy. After completing their degree, students can pursue further studies, employment, entrepreneurship, research, or take a gap year. Choosing the right path depends on individual aspirations and circumstances, and it's important to make informed decisions to shape a fulfilling career.
