The institute offers six specializations under the B.Tech course. The course has a duration of four years.

Eligibility Criteria:

• The candidate should have completed 10+2.
• The candidate should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Selection Criteria:

• The candidate should have taken the MHT-CET or JEE Main.

  • Submit the details.
  • Create a password.
  • Select the type of candidature.

  • After submitting all the requisite information, pay the counseling fees (800 INR) online.
  • Keep a printout of the application form. It will be needed for verification at the facilitation center.

How to apply for MHT CET?

Candidates who want to enrol for the B.Tech course have to sit the MHT CET. For filling the application form, follow the steps given below:

• Fill out the online application form at DTE website.
• Upload scanned copies of necessary papers.
• A fee of 800 INR (600 INR for reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
• Keep a printout of the form for verification.

B.Ed Application form:

To fill the application form, candidates first have to visit the official website of the university and register for the entrance test.

• The application form contains details such as name, gender, religion, caste category, address, and so on.
• Fill out the form carefully. Once the application form is submitted, there is no correction possible.
• The relevant documents have to be attached in the proper order, and submitted at the same time of paying the fees for the application.
• The application fee is 100 INR.

B.Ed entrance examination pattern:

• The entrance test has a duration of two hours.
• The questions are objective and MCQ-based in nature.
• Each question is worth a single mark.
• The paper carries 40 marks for questions based on mental ability, 30 marks on general knowledge and 30 marks on teachers’ aptitude.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria

• The candidate should have a B.Tech degree.
• The candidate has to take an entrance examination conducted by Shivaji University.
• If the candidate has taken the GATE, they are exempted from the entrance examination.
• The entrance examination has a duration of 90 minutes and is worth 100 marks. The questions are all MCQs, each carrying one mark. There is no negative marking. The examination is conducted online.
• In case the online system fails, the candidate is provided with OMR answer sheets.

GATE application process

If the candidate has taken the GATE, they are exempted from the entrance examination.

To apply for GATE, follow these steps:

• Visit the official website of GATE.
• Register through the link by entering the candidate’s name, email ID, and mobile number.
• After the form is submitted, an enrolment ID will be sent to the candidate’s mobile number.
• Fill out the application form.
• A fee of 1,500 INR (750 INR for women and reserved categories) will be charged. It is to be paid online.
• Download the form and keep a printout for future reference.

GATE counseling process:

Candidates with a positive GATE score have to go for counseling for final selection. To apply, follow these steps:

• In Maharashtra, GATE counseling is conducted by the DTE, Maharashtra.
• Go to the official website of DTE.
• Register by giving the requisite details.
• Fill out the application form.
• Upload scanned images of colored photographs and signatures.
• A fee of 1,000 INR will be charged for the application. It is to be paid online.
• Keep a printout of the receipt for future reference.
• After successful registration, candidates will be called for verification of documents at the Facilitation Centre. The following documents will be required for verification:
  • Printout of the counseling form
  • GATE scorecard
  • Certificate and mark sheets of graduation
  • Class 10 and 12 mark sheets
  • Transfer certificate

Eligibility Criteria

• For MBA Business Management, the candidate has to be a graduate with 50% marks.
• For an MBA Executive Course, the candidate has to have graduated with 50% marks. In addition, the candidate should have at least two years’ experience at the Supervisory level or in the Management cadre equivalent to Class I and II posts of the government.

Selection Criteria:

• The candidate will be selected on the basis of performance in the MAH CET.
• Candidates who feature among the top 40.7 percentile will be considered for selection.

How to apply for an MBA?

To apply for an MBA to Shivaji University, follow these steps:

• Go to www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/mba.
• Select Apply Online.
• Chooses Click here for New Registration.
• Enter the required details.
• Save the registration number and password. They will be required later.
• Pay the application fee of 1,000 INR online.
• Keep a printout of the fee receipt that is generated.
• While filling out the form, you will have to upload a recent photograph taken against a white background. The photograph should have a size between 20 Kb and 50 Kb.
• You also have to upload a signature on a white sheet with black ink, sized between 10 Kb and 20 Kb.

The institute offers an MCA course that has a duration of three years.

• The candidate should have completed graduation.
• The candidate should have scored 50% marks
• The candidate should have studied Mathematics at the 10+2 level.
• The candidate should not be employed at the time of admission.
• The candidate should not be above 28 years of age at the time of admission.

• The entrance examination can be taken both online or offline.
• The duration of the examination is two hours.
• The paper is worth 100 marks.
• The questions are MCQ-based.
• There will be 50 questions to answer. Each question will carry 2 marks.
• There is no negative marking.

To apply for PhD or M.Phil, follow these steps:

• Application forms are available online.
• The entrance examination fee for each subject is 200 INR. It is to be submitted in the form of a demand draft drawn in favour of the Finance and Accounts Officer, Shivaji University, Kolhapur.
• The filled out application form should be submitted along with the demand draft by courier or by person.
• If there are less than 10 candidates alloted to an examination centre, then that centre is subjected to cancellation.
