Shivaji University Kolhapur MBA Admissions 2023 are ongoing for the academic session 2023-24. Admission to the program will be based on CAT/CMAT/ATMA/MAT/MAH CET exam scores and Centralised Admission Process (CAP) conducted by State CET Cell, Mumbai.

Earlier, the MAH CET 2023 was held on March 25, and 26, 2023. However, the exam will be conducted again for the candidates who faced technical errors during the exam. Hence, such candidates can register till April 11, 2023. The re-examination for MAH MBA CET 2023 will be conducted on April 27, 2023.

The CMAT 2023 exam is expected to be conducted on March 26, 2023. The application process for the same is expected to start on December 26, 2022. The ATMA 2023 exam  for February session is expected to be held on February 25, 2023.  The application process for the same is expected to start by the 2^nd week of December 2022. The application for MAT 2023 is expected to begin from January 2023. The online registration for MAH CET 2023 exam is expected to begin from the 2^nd week of March 2023. Shivaji University Kolhapur (SUK) is a State university in Maharashtra that provides a full-time MBA course in 10 specializations.

The MBA courses at SKU are UGC approved and are offered for a duration of 2 years.

The minimum eligibility to apply for the MBA program of Shivaji University is a Bachelor’s Degree. The admission procedure at the varsity is done through Online Mode. Admission is done on the basis of MAH-CET scores.

Interested candidates must possess the following eligibility criteria to apply for the MBA program at Shivaji University-

• Must have passed with a minimum of 50 % marks in aggregate in any Bachelor’s degree of a minimum of three years duration in any discipline recognized by the UGC.
• 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying examinations case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only.
• Must have qualified for Common Entrance Test (MH-CET).

Admission to the MBA program of Shivaji University is based on the candidates’ scores in CAT/CMAT/ATMA/MAT/MAH CET exam scores and Centralised Admission Process (CAP).

• Candidates who possess a valid scorecard of CAT, MAT, CMAT, ATMA can also register for MAH CET Counseling.
• A merit list of the candidate who matches the cut-off score after appearing in these exams will be prepared.
• Selected candidates have to visit the campus and make the admission fee in order to finalize the admission and his/her seat.

How to Apply?

• Register himself/herself to apply for the Common Entrance Test CET by visiting the official authorized website of Maharashtra CET @mahacet.org.
• Further, the candidate must click and choose the option "MAH-MBA/MMS CET-2023".
• On the opening of the new screen, he/she must click on the option "Click here for New Registration" tab to register the application.
• Next, enter the required details- Name, Contact details, and Email-id. He/she will be provided with a Provisional Registration Number and Password on the screen and through Email & SMS.
• The candidate must validate and confirm the details and Save the online application by clicking the 'Validate your details' option and 'Save and Next' option.
• The candidates then are required to upload a scanned Photograph and Signature as prescribed in the Guidelines.
• Finally, he/she must choose the Preview Tab and verify the entire application form before submitting it.
• Next, click on 'Final Submit' after ensuring the entire application and each detail.
• Now, to make the payment click on the 'Payment' Tab and proceed for payment of INR 1000 and INR 800 for general and reserved category students, respectively. It may be done through Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.
• The candidate must take a printout of the e-receipt.
• The candidate is advised to save and take a printout of the application for any future references.

Course Duration

Shivaji University offers a full-time MBA course for a duration of 2 years which is divided into 4 equal semesters of 6 months each.

Prescribed Coursework

• The first two semesters of the MBA program has core courses while the 3rd and 4th semester has elective courses
• Candidates are required to select at least 2 elective subjects out of 10 specializations.
• Every unit in the syllabus is supplemented with a practical to make students understand the theoretical concept under study.
• Shivaji University conducts end semester examination two times i.e. in December and May for all the semesters. Besides, students are assessed internally as well.
• One Theory lecture is for a duration of 60 minutes.
• Candidates are required to secure a minimum of 112 credits to be eligible for the award of MBA degree.
