DAV College Chandigarh Admissions 2024
The candidates are admitted strictly on the basis of the rules and regulations of Panjab University. The admission to the college is provisional in nature and subject to the approval of the Panjab University. If the University does not allow any student to provide incomplete information or fails to submit documents on time, the college is not held responsible. All the candidates have to be present in person on the date and time of admission as notified by the college.

- Visit the website and read the prospectus carefully before applying for any course.
- Go to the link of e-Admissions and sign up with your name and mobile number.
- Pay registration fees.
- After the verification of the payment, log in to fill in the application form.
- Read the rules and regulations carefully.
- Students from the reserved category are supposed to tick the option provided and upload the supporting documents.
- The Email IDs and contact numbers mentioned in the form must be active and working.
- The column regarding the hostel accommodation must be filled in with ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.
- The students are supposed to fill in all the bank details.
- Mention the full name of the board/ university last passed out from.

DAV College Chandigarh Facilities
- Hostel: Hostels are assigned strictly on the basis of merit. Girls’ hostel has a capacity of 400 and Boys’ hostel has a capacity of 250. Students are not admitted to the hostel unless accompanied by a parent or a responsible guardian. Girls' hostel has AC rooms and provides hygienic food to the students.
- Library: The library at DAV College has both books and e-reading material for students. 8 computers connected through one LAN with a subscription to English/ Hindi/ Punjabi dailies. The library also has a rich collection of old palm leaf and paper manuscripts, along with rare books on poetry, prose, astronomy, astrology, Vedic literature, art, and architecture, epics and Puranas, etc.
- Laboratories: DAVC has over 30 laboratories for all the demanding subjects with all the requisite apparatuses and facilities.
- Cafeteria, Banking, and Medical facilities; The college has one cafeteria, one by Indian Coffee house, another by Nescafe, and a juice bar.
- The college has an Extension Counter Branch of State Bank of India working 6 days a week. A State Bank of India ATM is also present on the campus available to students and employees.
- The college dispensary is well-equipped with first aids, common medicines, blood pressure machines, and a wheelchair. A doctor is also hired for the well-being of the students, and in the cases of emergency, the students are rushed to the nearby hospital.
