Shivaji University Scholarship

Shivaji University offers following scholarships to the deserving candidates:

Shivaji University Merit Scholarship Scheme: Offers one scholarship each of Rs. 5,000 for every Postgraduate Department for both the years.
Shivaji University Departmental Research Fellowship: One departmental research fellowship for each Postgraduate department for the scholars pursuing Ph.D research program.

Other Scholarships for the Postgraduate Students:

Two Scholarships of the value of Rs. 300 per term in each subject (other than English and History).
Two Scholarships of the value of Rs. 150 per term in each major subject.
Two Scholarships of the Value of Rs. 300 per term in M.A. History & English for Part – I and Part - II.
Dr. Appasaheb Pawar Merit Scholarship: M.A. Part - I Rs. 36 per month, one for History (Entire) M.A. Part - II Rs. 36 per month, one Free Studentships of the value of Rs. 75 per term up to 10% of the total enrolment of students securing 45% or more marks.

Apart from all these scholarships, Shivaji University also helps the candidates in availing the scholarships offered by Central and State Government.

Fees for general/open category is 103000 and for EBC/OBC it is reduced to 65000. For SC, ST and NT it is only 8000. There are mainly 2 government scholarships are available for general (EBC) category students and students from SC, ST and OBC. The scholarship is Shri Rajashri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Shiksha Shulk Yojna and Scholarship for backward class which offer half of tuition fees to students whose family annual income is less than 8 lakhs. College also provides installation facility for paying fees.

The actual fee of the college is around Rs.1,12,000/-. But all government scholarships apply to this college for ex-EBC. They provide notices regarding this concern with dates and documents. However, the college doesn't provide any institutional scholarships or doesn't take any risk for the private scholarships provided by other organisations. Till your semester-end examination form submitting you can pay the complete amount of fees in slots.

Here SC and other cast have 15000 rupees and for open 100000 and for ebc and ews students 60000 fees. There are not high fee structures there are too many scholarships in college and if you have an income certificate under 8 lakh then you will get a concession in fees.

The fees for this college are around 88000 per year. If you have any benefits of EWS or EBC then you have to pay only 50000 per year. And other caste reservation also affects the fees for them. For NT, ST student's fees stand for 2000 only. The average fee of around 4 years stands for below 4 lakhs.
