I am currently in 2nd-year 3rd sem, The college curriculum is chill till now, mostly you have to work on your own interests and develop your skills at max. I am pursuing a btech in mechanical engineering and a minor in CS, well opting for mechanical was a decision I took due to a keen interest in physics but I will suggest you go through the course curriculum if you are opting for any branch in any college.
I choose Btech Civil Engineering in NITK. The faculty members are also good.. Student ratio is approx 1:3 The semester exams are in 5 months & it's slightly were difficult to pass in maths exam compare to other subjects.
They are very good and extremely hardworking. they are very passionate about the course and they teach very well. The course is also very good and upgraded. I enjoy the course alot and it's fun studying here
Our faculty are very good. They teach well explained. Some faculty are graduated from NITs and IITs also. Here all professors talk in English to improve students communication skills. They take midsems and full sem exam along with some surprise tests.
The course curriculum is actually good. For 1st year, they taught everyone the same syllabus that included Elements of electrical engineering, elements of electronic and communication engineering, engineering graphics, engineering mathematics, elements of mechanical engineering + mechanical labs, professional communication, the profession of ethics and values, physics, physics lab, chemistry and chemistry lab. The faculty members are quite good but most professors are from the South only so their accent in English is quite weird some are good but some are. But that's not the problem you have some really good friends who explains you in your own language/ mother tongue just have the right friend.
I chose this course because this was the best course I got considering the college and branch. I scored 98.5 percentile and from the general category, this was the most suitable course for me. Faculty to student ratio is around 1:10. Highly qualified teachers. Exams are easy if you study well the whole year.
MCA is a good course if you are interested in the IT field and want to secure a future in an IT company. All Faculties are Ph.D. qualified and very intelligent. The teaching method is very best. The exam is 3 rounds in college 1 monthly test 2 mid-semester test 3 final test.
I chose the course because I like to learn about electrics and am very much interested in learning it. Faculty to student ratio is good enough. Most of the faculties hold Ph.D. and many teachers are indulged in research and their teaching method is just awesome except for a few. Exams are almost monthly because you have to give quizzes for each subject.
The course curriculum is good and the faculty is awesome I am interested in mechanical engineering so I opted for mechanical engineering at NITK. All the faculties have done Ph.D. and the teaching method is good, they share ppts and slides there would be quizzes and a mid-sem and end-sem exam for every sem and it would be quite easy and can be passed easily.
