A valid score in JEE Advanced is also mandatory. The following applicants are eligible to apply for JEE Advanced:
- Qualified class XII exam in the Science stream, the minimum 75% criteria has been scrapped for admissions for the General category (65% for SC/ST).
- JEE Main qualifiers can appear for JEE Advanced exam.
- JEE Main qualifiers are not required to appear for JEE Main again, they can directly appear for JEE Advanced exam.

The like the organisation run by student NSS which is very much good experience
The greenary of the campus is also good we could find peace in the campus
Just loved the campus how it is built like the infrastructure.
Hostel life and rooms are great, clean and feels like home
I liked the hostel facility here and the forest here is very peacful

Dislike

It is very difficult to avail the facilities as there are no proper facilities near the campus
They do not clean the bathrooms as well and rooms also.
We want mess menu and all the things to be plan well
Campus is in outskirts, village like bihta, so missing city life and other eminities
No AC's in the hostel but in other iits ac's are being provided in hostels as summers are peak

The course circulum here is very hectic and the professors here are friendly except for 2 or 3 which you will know after coming here I chose this course because I am interested in the working of huge machinery and I want to build one and the professors here all are doctorate holders.

I chose mechanical engineering because I have an interest in physics and this was the best branch that I could get from my rank the student and faculty ratio is approx 1:15 teaching method is good but can be improved in some manner.

I chose mechanical engineering because I was interested in motorsports, cars, and coming to the faculty-student ratio our lecture hall has nearly 300 students in the hall i.e. 10 groups of students sitting together of BTech and dual degrees. Our faculty members are highly qualified with everybody having subject excellence and Ph.D. degrees from top colleges and some of them even have experience of teaching in foreign as well. Our mid-sem exams started within a month or so after joining the college and now too after a break of another month we have end-sem, however, the paper was not very difficult to pass, we can score decent marks by studying for 3-4 days prior to the exam, only maths exam I can say requires practice as switching from objective to subjective may be challenging for some.

I chose this course because mainly of my rank and the average package of IIT Patna is greater than any of the other tier 2 IITs and the faculty of the IIT Patna are the top 10 of the total Indias so it was my choice

I have an interest in mechanical engineering and this was the best course I was getting through my rank in JEE Advance. The faculties are very good, the ratio for faculty-student is about 1:30, the teaching method is good but exams are tough, we need to study hard.
