Vignan Foundation for Science, Technology & Research University (VFSTR) is Deemed to be University. Vignan University offers admission to UG, PG and Ph. D programme focusing on Science and Technology. Higher Secondary Examination (12th) examination qualified candidate will be eligible for admission in UG courses. Bachelor’s degree holder in the relevant subject can apply for admission in Post Graduation courses. Candidate must hold a PG degree for admission in Ph.D. programme.

The university offers full-time B.Tech (General+ Lateral Entry) and B.Pharm courses in various streams for the duration of four years. 10+2 with PCM/B is the minimum eligibility criteria for B.Tech and B.Pharm. B.Tech (Lateral Entry) requires B.Sc or Diploma in a relevant discipline from a recognized university.

Vignan University offers a Ph.D. program in full-time, part-time and external modes in various disciplines. Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with at least 60% marks in aggregate is the minimum eligibility criteria. Selection is made on the basis of academic performance (20% weightage for UG degree and 30% for PG), previous experience (5% weightage), Publications (5% weightage) and written test and interview with 15% and 25% weightage respectively.

Ques. Which category of students will get special exemption during Ph.D admissions at Vignan University?
Ans. The candidates who have cleared CSIR NET/ JRF will be exempted from writing the entrance examination conducted by the University. These candidates must undergo the interview procedure even though they are exempted from the written examination. The rest of the candidates will have to write the entrance examination and undergo the interview procedure.
Ques. What is the procedure for filling the application form at Vignan University?
Ans. Two modes of application are offered to candidates taking admission at the institution. Online and offline applications are accepted at the University. The application form for BBA/BCA/Ph.D can be filled through offline mode.
