R V R & J C College of Engineering (Rayapati Venkata Rangarao & Jagarlamudi Chandramouli) is an engineering college in Guntur, offering Masters and Bachelors courses in engineering and technology. It is located in the west suburban region of Guntur City, India.

The college is affiliated to the Acharya Nagarjuna University, Guntur. It is among the top 100 engineering colleges of India. The institute attracts companies that take campus interviews for the students.

The college has a networked campus in which all the departments are interconnected to implement information sharing, communication, application access and internet connection sharing. The college has well qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and supporting staff, state of the art laboratory and workshop facilities.

The mission of the institute is to develop integrated manpower possessing technological and managerial knowledge and skills; values and ethics needed to make an honorable living and contribute to the socio-economic development and welfare of the society.

The cultural activity in the college is focused around the Clubs. There are clubs for fine arts, short movies, literature and books.

CLUB ENDEAVOR:	The club generally organises a literary event which covers the general events held in the inter-collegiate festivals . The idea behind such organisation of the events is to prepare the students to be comfortable on all fronts when they represent the college in events held at various fests .
RED ANTS	The club is a student run fine arts club which primarily aims at honing the finer skills that are vested in the students . It mainly take up the activities like pencil shading ,mehendi , t-shirt painting etc.. It lay emphasis in letting the thoughts of the young minds flow freely and take shape in which ever way they feel comfortable.
CLUB INSPIRAZE	This club helps to ignite the inner thoughts of students through enlightening speeches delivered by professionals. Each branch generally arranges their own guest lectures from elites & professors held in high regard in their respective fields of academic expertise.
CLUB WALTZ	The club organizes dance competetions with varrious themes so as to belittle none and give a chance for dancers of every known style to showcase their skill and find like minded people .
CLUB SPECTRUM	The club organizes a wide variety of competetions ranging from ad -making to short film making so as to give the students a platform and chance to vent their feelings and talents . In every competetion innovative themes are taken and are tried to offer challenges which would need lots of strategic planning and impeccable implementation .
MUSIC CLUB	Every event organised by the club aims at drawing forth lamented talent in the youngsters who have unflickering adulation towards the finest art of music.
BOOK CLUB	Every time the club meets the students are asked to suggest some books . These may be of different genres or the same . The organiser picks up the book he feels best amongst the suggested ones .He/she discusses about the plot of the book and in general about the various points the book highlights.
CLUB SPARK	The club generally showcases videos ( technical only ) so as to expose the students to the latest technological trends. It helps the students to gain a visual idea of how things actually are and how things actually work . Even just attending the activities of the club will help the students to gather huge amounts of knowledge on various disciplines.

Need to get a good eapcet rank to find admission to this college. The cut-off for Electronics and Communication Engineering at our time was around 12000 for the general category and around 20000 for OBC and other categories.

A better rank in eamcet exam is needed to get admission. There are reservation benefits for sc, st candidates. In my opinion, reservations should not be there in the admission process. So this is the only improvement I think is needed in the admission process.

The admission process is very simple. I came with my emcet rank card and with the allotment order and I showed this in the office room and I joined. And I filled out the application form and submitted the certificates, there are no reservations about the admission.

Course eligibility is ECET by graduates and this application can be found on the website by registering for this ecet the fee can be paid online after a few days the test site is open give and can go to the exam centre after the exam results are announced then should choose the university

I entered by applying eapcet entrance exam conducted by the ap government cutoff mark for mechanical engineering is 50 marks. Then you are eligible for fee reimbursement provided by the government. Very good in the admission process

I took the entrance exam to get a seat in this college. we can get a seat through the EAMCET exam conducted by the board of secondary education in Andhra Pradesh. the application fee is around 200 rs and the cutoff marks for the general category are around 10000 ranks, nearly 2 lakhs people attend for EAMCET exam

I had admitted through ap eamcet. The eligibility is to qualify in ap eamcet. I am SC caste and there is a reservation in ap eamcet because of the reservation I was admitted into rvr&jc college. For cse you have to get 15000 rank below to get the seat for sc. For it 35k ranks below.

We have ap eamcet exam after intermediate. After they announced ranks. Everyone gets their ranks. If they get a rank below 10000 then they easily get a seat in our college in information technology but for cse they should get below 4000 and the cutoff of our college is for cse 4000.
