CMR College of Engineering & Technology Facilities and Hostel

• Hostel: The College has separate hostel facilities for Boys and Girls located in the college premises, which are available at an affordable cost of Rs. 69,000/- per annum (Girls) and 72000/- per annum (Boys). Full time resident wardens are available at CMR College of Engineering & Technology Hostels to take care of hostellers and to maintain discipline. A standby power generator is also available with full time attendant to operate during power failures.

• Library: The college library has largest collection of Books, Journals, Magazines, Project reports, Tutorials, video lessons and E-Book Consortium in all allied subjects for both academics and research with numerous subject for professional and special purpose to coordinate resource sharing and maximize the efficacy of our expenditures and our expertise. There are currently over 75,000 volumes,10,000 Titles and 153 journals both National and International available in paper and electronically, as well as numerous e-books. Library also provides borrowing privileges to students and staff for off campus access. The library is open from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on working days and from 10:00 a.m. to 05:00 p.m. on Sundays. The Second Floor of the library has Circulation Counter, New Arrivals, Stack Area, Reading Area, Digital Library Newspaper Section & Reprography Section and the Reference Section & Periodicals Section.

• Canteen: CMRCET, Hyderabad has a canteen which provides a wide variety of hygienic break-fast, lunch and eateries and snacks. The College canteen provides delicious and hygienic South Indian, North Indian, Chinese, vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes at reasonable prices. Adequate measures have been taken to provide safe drinking water to the students, keeping their health in mind. 

• Medical Facilities: CMRCET, Hyderabad has a medical room available in the campus during the working hours with all the requisite facilities and emergency medicine which is headed by the expert professionals. A full time medical officer assisted by a trained nurse and Ambulance facility is also available at the medical centre. The college also has a tie-up with Malla Reddy Hospitals for availing their facilities at concessional rates.
• Sports: Football, Hockey, Cricket grounds, Basketball, Tennis and Volleyball courts are well maintained by the Department of Physical Education at CMRCET. Outdoor and indoor recreation facilities are available both during and after the college hours in the sports complex building. The college’s sports council also conducts annual sport events and also organizes Inter-collegiate tournaments.
• ATM: The college provides round the clock ATM (Automatic Teller Machine) facility for both the students and staff members so that they can do withdraw money at any point of time without hassles. It is located at a point where it is easily accessible to every individual in order to cater to the needs of their monetary transactions.
• Post Office: An excellent postal service is provided in the college for the postal correspondence and the transit is well taken care of by the concerned persons. In addition, the parents are informed about their ward’s performance in the examinations and their attendance in the form of monthly progress reports, which is sent at regular intervals through the available post office.
• Stationary: CMRCET has a well stocked stationary point where materials like drawing sheets, drafters, aprons, lab records, writing materials etc., with photocopying facility are available.
• Water Facility: A Reverse Osmosis Process-based mineral water plant is established in the college which can supply 600 Liters / Hr of pure and safe drinking water.
• Waiting Hall: A well furnished lounge having a conductive atmosphere for the girls to rest and relax when required is available at the campus. Some of the senior women faculty counsel the students, according to necessity.
• Auditorium: CMR Central Auditorium has a well equipped Air-Conditioned Seminar hall in every department and it is aesthetically designed to conduct all the important workshops and seminars. The seminar halls are facilitated with the latest technology and are well equipped with Multimedia projectors and Audio Video amenities. Each hall can accommodate up to 2000 people and interactive sessions for the students are taken up from time to time by the faculty / industry experts.
• Clubs: The institute has various clubs including Event Management Club, Coding Club, Cyber Security Club, Voice of Youth Club, Fitness Club, Literary Club, Sports Club, AI Mind, Extravaganza, Android Application Club, and many more.
