Koneru Lakshmaiah University (KLU) offers M.Phil. and PhD programs in 6 specializations.

The M.Phil. Programme is for a maximum duration of 2 to 3 years, depending on whether it is part-time or full time and the PhD Programme is for a maximum duration of 4 to 5 years.

Admission will be made on the basis of Entrance Examination and Interview conducted by the respective departments.

The Application form can be filled in ONLINE mode on the official website. The application fees of INR 1100 can be paid through Credit Card, Debit Card or Net banking.

Eligibility

Admission Process

Applicants will be selected on the basis of Entrance Examination and Interview conducted by the respective departments. If you are seeking admission into a programme other than your respective postgraduate discipline, you shall appear for the entrance examination and interview in the area of research in which you are seeking admission.

Exemptions: Candidates should have qualified UGC (NET) / CSIR (JRF examination) /SLET/GATE, or you should be a teacher fellowship holder or working as a Scientist in Government Organizations & Research Labs with 5 years of experience to seek exemptions from giving the Entrance Test. Applicants will still have to appear for the Interview.
