The faculty of both the colleges are equally good. They are highly experienced and very cooperative.
If you prefer a more lively college life, consisting of fun and fests then opt for Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC)
If the campus environment, infrastructure, and food joints matter more to you then go for Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology (VESIT) Chembur.
VESIT offers more seats for CS than TSEC College.
The placements for CS in both colleges are similar.

Thadomal Shahani Engineering College (TSEC) is a private engineering and research institute, established in 1983 under the affiliation of the University of Mumbai. TSEC is popularly known for offering various courses like B.E, and Ph.D. Admission procedures for all these above-mentioned programs are done through the national level or state level entrance exams such as JEE Main and MHTCET. The application process at TSEC is conducted online only.

In the NIRF Engineering Rankings 2021, the college has been ranked among the rank band of 251-300. TSEC Admission

Admission to the college is entirely entrance based. The application for the same will be available online.

How to apply?

Apply and clear common entrance exams like JEE or MHTCET.
Collect the admission kit from the college office after paying the application processing fees.
Submit the filled data sheet available in the kit along with the required documents before the due date.
Check the merit list displayed on the college website and report to the authorities immediately in case of any issues.
If you are on the merit list, attend the admission rounds as per the dates mentioned by the college.
Pay admission fees to secure your seat.
Every eligible candidate must obtain the Admission kit from the TSEC Office after payment of the application processing fees.
After obtaining the admission kit, the candidate needs to submit the completely filled datasheet along with a set of self-attested photocopy of all relevant documents and a photocopy of the duly filled datasheet to the college on or before the date of final submission as mentioned in the schedule on the college website.
A merit list of all eligible candidates will be displayed on the college website as well as on the college premises, as per the details given in the schedule from time to time.

TSEC Faculty

Yes, you have to give the entrance exam. The entrance exam is through cet. The application form fees all are updated on the Mumbai University website or else if you go to the thadomal office you will get all detail. Reservation benefits are that if you get let mark you will get into the college. No, the admission process is clear I don't think there should any improvement.
