About VESIT

Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology (VESIT) is a private institute established in 1984. It is located at Chembur, Mumbai. The Institute offers specializations in Engineering courses at UG and PG levels. The Institute also offers a Ph.D. course in Engineering. VESIT Mumbai Admission

Admissions at Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology is done through marks secured by a candidate in either MHT CET or JEE Main. VESIT Mumbai Scholarship

Different scholarship schemes are available at Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology. The institute also has an in-charge for departmental scholarships. Following scholarships are provided at the institute: 

  1. Students Aid Scholarship: The criteria for Students Aid scholarship are that the student should have a score of at least 7.00 grade and a family income of less than 1 LPA. Scholarships of INR 15000 each are given to 25-30 students across all departments every year.
  2. Vivekanand Jyoti Scholarship: ​1 meritorious student from each department is eligible for the scholarship. INR 30,000 is given as the scholarship amount to the eligible studenst. The criteria is a grade point of at least 7.00 and a family Income of less than INR 1 LPA.

Ans.  The eligibility criteria for Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) at VESIT Mumbai are:
  1. The Candidate should be an Indian National.
  1.  Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as Compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies, and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in Case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above Subject taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the Subjects in MHT-CET 2023 and should obtain non zero scores in MHT-CET 2023.

  • If the campus environment, infrastructure, and food joints matter more to you then go for Vivekanand Education Society’s Institute of Technology (VESIT) Chembur.
  • VESIT offers more seats for CS than TSEC College.
  • The placements for CS in both colleges are similar.
