The admission is based on DUET or GATE/ UGC-NET/ SLET. Students who have cleared GATE/ UGC-NET/ SLET exam need not appear for DIT University Entrance Test (DUET) and they will directly appear for the Personal Interview.

DIT University PhD Course Highlights
- DIT University charges a per semester fee of INR 40000 for a part-time PhD and INR 50000 for full-time PhD programs for all India/ Himalayan State Quota.
- It offers full-time and part-time options in PhD courses excluding PhD in Civil Engineering. It is only for the Full-time option. The duration of the course is as per DITU PhD Ordinance.
- Full-time PhD scholars who are GATE/ NET qualified are eligible for a stipend of INR 16000 per month as a stipend towards Teaching and Research Associateship, as per availability of teaching positions. Candidates who qualify DUET with 60% or more are eligible to receive INR 10000 per month as a stipend towards the Teaching and Research Associateship (TA/ RA).

DIT University PhD Eligibility Criteria & Fees
Candidates should have passed a minimum of 55% or equivalent CGPA in the respective Master’s Degree from a recognized University. NET/ GATE/ SRF qualified students shall be preferred for admission.

- Registration fees will be INR 1250 (approx) which is non-refundable.
- After successful registration students need to mail at admission2021@dituniversity.edu.in along with all the important documents.
- If you receive an approval email then students need to pay an admission fee.
