The selection in all the programmes at this University is on the basis of merit in last qualifying exam along with an interview. Admission in Ph.D. programme is on the basis of academic record, admission test performance as well as interview. Candidates qualified NET/GATE/SLET can exempt the admission test.

Summer Internship
All MBA program students need to undergo a summer internship program for 14 weeks amid closure of 2nd semester and beginning of 3rd semester. The weightage internship carries is 18 credit units. Some of the companies where students had gone for summer internships are Outlook Group, GMR Group, Jaro Education, Ernst & Young, Religare Securities Ltd., Gail India Ltd., NTPC, Airtel, Reliance Jio, and many more.

- Library: The library has a huge collection of books like textbooks, encyclopedias, reference books, and so on. It has more than 30713 volumes and 13558 titles. It has 24179 books, 62 journals, 33 magazines, 9 newspapers, and 2516 CD/DVD.
- Health Centre: The campus has a first aid room for sick people and an ambulance is also there for emergencies. Medical practitioners make visits on a regular basis.
- Sports and Recreational Facilities: The campus has both indoor as well as outdoor sports facilities so that they can remain fit and healthy.

Scholarship provided by college
The ICFAI University, Dehradun offers merit scholarships to students pursuing the UG & PG programs. These scholarships are based on past academic records and semester-wise performance.
Based on Past Academic Record: The past academic percentage will be calculated for the eligibility program on the basis of all courses studied during the program. He/ she should not have any backlog (RRA/NC/ RC) in the semester. He/ she should have scored 6 or more GPA in the semester. Students facing any disciplinary action will not be considered for the scholarship. Students who have availed fee waiver are not eligible for scholarships.
Note: Students are required to pay the complete semester fee on or before the registration date

Above Scholarship amount would be adjusted equally in 6 installments for 3 year Programs; 4 installments for 2 year Programs and 10 installments for 5 year integrated Programs in each semester fee payable.
Based on Semester-wise Performance: 10% of the students in the batch having highest CGPA will be entitled. Scholarship amount would be distributed equally among students with equivalent CGPA if tied with the last student in the top 10%. Students should not have any backlogs (RRA/NC/RC) in any semester. Students who have availed fee waiver are not eligible for scholarship. Students facing any disciplinary action will not be considered for scholarship.
