Remarks :

The Eligibility of the course as it is NIT through JEE Mains CRL and above 75% in boards or top 20%ile in respective state boards. Application for this course is through JOSAA counseling and after getting to this college, will have to physically report to the institute with all important documents. I availed the benefit in course fees by submitting a family income certificate, monetary benefits are given to less than 1 lpa income and for 1 lpa to 5 lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My passion for this Course and my JEE rank, are the best colleges I have. This institute had a good faculty-to-student ratio of around 1:16 . All faculties here are highly Qualified from various premiere institutes around the country. A semester lasts for around 4 months which includes a mid-semester exam and an end semester exam of every subject.

Internships Opportunities :

FAANG, TCS, INFOSYS, PSUs, banks, and many core noncore companies offer great packages to the students here. A good CGPA, academic overall performances, good skills, good projects, good communication skills, and leadership skills are favorable for better placements.

Placement Experience :

From 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements. more than 700 offers are offered to students. The highest package is 80 lpa and the average is 14.5 lpa. More than 90% of eligible students here got placed.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fees of this institute are very affordable with a lot of financial assistance offered to reserved students and economically challenged students. no tuition fees for SC/ST and below 1 lpa family income, 2/3 Tuition fees are relaxed for 1 to 5 lpa family income.

Campus Life :

Incandescence - cultural fest - February, tecnoesis - tech fest- October, posua - spring fest - April, Asia's Largest digital library is here. very well managed cricket, football, basketball, lawn tennis, badminton grounds are there, student activity center and sports complex are also there for Gymnasium, Table tennis, kho kho, kabaddi, etc. A lot of clubs and societies are there for each and every branch. Hobby clubs are also there.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college is quite good. we cannot disclose the name of the company visiting the campus because the training and placement cell of NIT SILCHAR did not allow us to disclose the names of the companies. My plan after getting my degree is to go through the UPSC exam.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Because I was interested in this course. Here the faculty-to-student ratio would be around 1:25 which is very good we can clarify our doubts by asking the faculty, the Qualification of the teaching method will mostly be the same, they are PhD, but their teaching experience plays a major role and their teaching method varies from faculty to faculty but it would be nice. Term exams would be around 5 months Difficulty in passing the exams depends on the faculty.

From the 6th sem onwards students are eligible for campus. As per the guidelines of the training and placement cell, the name of the company visited can't be disclosed. There are too many companies visiting the campus for recruitment. Almost all the students who are eligible for placements get placed with a good package.

Till now placement percentage is at a good level. From 6th semester students became eligible for placements. Most of the students get placed. From what I have heard short listing of candidates is based on cgpa basis. Skills are most important to go to software companies.

Placement Experience:

The placement season in the college is a very important one. Even before that, students get to do internships from 2nd year of BTech, providing them exposure to all kinds of companies and job sectors. All kinds of companies like Google, Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Uber make their way out here in search of bright minds capable of developing the companies further. They even provide the students with Pre Placement Offers, if their internship performance is commendable. The highest package goes upto above 2 crore INR per year, with average packages of above 25 lakhs INR per year. Above 85% of the students get placed in the end, with the others interested in higher studies. Nobody is left idle. My plans after BTech are to pursue a well paying job with a good working atmosphere.
