- Placements: Although many companies that visit JBIMS, visit FMS too, the number and quality of roles offered to vary. Also, JBIMS lacks offers from international companies like Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, Bank of America, and Royal Bank of Scotland that offer IB roles in FMS. After analyzing the placement reports you can see that no significant Corporate Finance Roles have been offered at JBIMS.
- Consulting: Almost every firm that visits JBIMS, visits FMS too. But FMS enjoys additional offers from top firms like BCG and Avalon consulting offering strategic consulting roles. FMS also enjoys the participation of Cognizant Business Consulting, Infosys Management Consulting, and Capgemini.
- General Management: The domain of General Management is better at FMS than JBIMS. This is because the big names in the sector like TAS, Airtel, and Mahindra do not visit the campus of JBIMS

NIT Mizoram is one of the new NITs that was established in 2010. The MHRD recognizes NITs as institutes of national importance. You may already be aware of the NIT brand, which will help you in your future career. Being a student here myself, I can say that NIT Mizoram over other private institutes will undoubtedly be a better choice.
- As it is a new NIT, it does not have a permanent campus yet, but that will not be a problem because college buses are provided from the hostel to college.
- It is located in Aizawl, which is a lovely city with beautiful weather all year.
- The faculty is excellent. The teachers here have PhDs, and those with a master's degree are pursuing a Ph.D.
- NIT Mizoram offers many Giant courses that are not available at any private institute.
- It previously held a course on Robot Operating System and is currently holding 5 more Math and Electrical courses.
- The infrastructure of our Virtual Classroom is among the best in the country.
- Even IIT Guwahati does not have such cutting-edge VCR infrastructure.
- Annual techno-cultural fests are also held. In which students participate in events such as drama, dance, and singing, etc.
- They also host an annual sports festival.
Despite the fact that NIT Mizoram is often looked down upon due to its remote location, this place has its own flavor. So, in all NIT Mizoram is one of the best institutes we have in India.
Is anyone pursuing PGDBA course jointly conducted by IIM Calcutta, IIT Kharagpur, and ISI Kolkata? What is the scope of this new course?
PGDBA is now in its third year, and people are not only interested in it, but also competing fiercely for admission.
This course has a broad scope. Students learn a wide range of languages, tools, and models used in data science. AIIMS all over India have some of the best hostels, but none can compare with the facilities at AIIMS Delhi hostels. I completed my MBBS from AIIMS Patna, so I’ll inform you a bit about our hostels-
The boys’ hostels do not follow any in-time. This is because the college library is functional 24*7, so the boy students are not bound to hostel timings. Boys can bring their relatives to their hostel room, but they need to mention it in the guards’ register. Girls aren’t allowed in boys’ hostels, and vice versa. The girls’ hostels are comparatively more strict and restrictive.
Having said all this, AIIMS hostels are filled with all the freedom and necessary facilities. Its hostels will be the last reason for you to dislike an AIIMS.
Is it true that IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta CVs are highly exaggerated by the students despite the rigorous verification to make them sound impactful?
No, IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Calcutta CVs aren’t highly exaggerated. The right terms will be well-structured and strategically marketed.
As mentioned, the CV verification process is rigorous and the institute only accepts poofs in certain specific formats from authorized people or organizations. So, there is no way anyone can exaggerate any facts. Students of these institutes mention their work and achievements in a way that catches the eye of the recruiters. That is the only difference.
What is bad about BITS Goa?
BITS Goa has both pros and cons, unlike other universities. Some of the demerits that the students faced while pursuing their course from BITS Goa are as follows
- Faculty and Fees: Faculty quality can vary, and high tuition fees (around 1.59 lakhs per semester) raise questions about value for money.
- Library and Medical Centre: Limited operating hours for the library and medical center can be inconvenient compared to colleges with 24/7 access.
- Infrastructure Challenges: Frequent power cuts, lack of backup generators in hostels, and unreliable AC and fans in lecture halls are common issues.
- Grading System: Lack of transparency in the grading system can be frustrating for students.
