GATE 2022 MT Question Paper and Answer Key PDFs are ready for downloading. Students can download PDFs to check their preparation level. GATE 2022 MT was held in the Forenoon Session of 6th February. This year IIT Kharagpur took the charge to conclude the GATE examinations. The overall difficulty of the question paper was measured to be of easy level. There were two sections in the exam i.e. General Aptitude and subject specific questions. The General Aptitude section was rated easy, while the MT section was rated moderate.

GATE 2022 MT Detailed Paper Analysis
The overall question pattern was the same as the other GATE papers. A total of 65 questions appeared in the exam. Each question carried either 1 or 2 marks. Kindly refer to the below-mentioned table, showing the details of the questions as per the carried marks-

- Topics such as Manufacturing, Mechanical, and Technology carried the greatest weightage in the exam
- Questions related to Engineering Mathematics were rated difficult as compared to the other questions
- Most of questions were based on formula
- MSQs carried the least weightage in exam

- GATE 2022 MT asked both MCQs and NATs. It was held online via CBT mode
- As per the specified marking scheme by IIT Delhi, from the final score, ⅓ and ⅔ marks would be reduced for each wrong MCQ carried 1 and 2 marks
- Wrong attempted NATs were not supposed to bring any kind of deduction in the final achieved marks
