On the 1st of February 2020, the GATE Production and Industrial Engineering PI examination was held. IIT Delhi was in charge of the examination.   • There were 2 sections in GATE PI 2020 exam – General Aptitude and Subject-specific.
  • Compared to previous year, General aptitude section was found easy to answer.
  • There were total 65 question similar to other papers and consists of 100 marks with 3 hours in total duration.
  • Negative marking is used for MCQ questions, with
    • ⅓ mark deduction for 1 mark MCQs and
    • ⅔ mark deduction for 2 mark MCQs.
  • The MSQ and NAT questions have no negative marking.
