GATE 2020 ME slot 1 Question Paper with Answer Key is available. The exam was conducted by IIT Delhi on 1st February 2020. The exam was conducted in 2 slots. Slot 1 or Forenoon session was conducted from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. The overall difficulty level of the question paper was moderate to difficult. - Manufacturing holds the same weightage of around 18%
- The exam was conducted in CBT (Computer Based Test). The duration of the exam was 3 hours
- Core engineering sections holds the highest weightage
- ⅓ marks were deducted for every wrong attempted question carrying 1 Mark. ⅔ marks were deducted for every question carrying 2 Marks
- No marks were deducted for unattempted or incorrect NAT questions
- The released cutoff for the same was lower as compared to the last year
