GATE 2020 EC Paper was conducted in online mode. Overall difficulty level of the exam was found to be moderate. GATE CE 2020 February 9 Forenoon Slot: Paper Analysis
- Exam was overall 100 marks in total with 65 questions.
- It can be seen that the number of MCQs and NAT Questions were asked from the Engineering Discipline .
- There were 40 multiple choice questions and 25 numerical answer questions in the paper. In comparison to the previous year's paper, no significant modifications were found. All of the 1 mark questions were simple. The paper's overall difficulty level was determined to be moderate.
- There was no negative marking for NAT type questions whereas for MCQ question negative marking was applicable, 0.25 marks are deducted for each 1-mark wrong answer.
