GATE 2020 AE Question Paper along with Answer Key is available here. On 2nd February, 2020 IIT Delhi concluded GATE 2020 AE in the Afternoon slot (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM). As per students, the overall difficulty level of the question was easy. 70-80% of paper weightage was related to core Aerospace Engineering. Almost 4993 candidates registered for GATE 2020 AE out of which 3811 candidates appeared for GATE 2020 AE.

GATE 2020 AE Paper Analysis
Both MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) and NATs (Numerical Answer Types), both types of questions appeared in GATE 2020 AE. All the questions carried either 1 or 2 marks, constituting a 100 marks question paper.

- This year question paper was equally distributed between MCQs and NATs
- 180 minutes were allotted for solving 65 questions in GATE 2020 AE
- There were 24 NAT (Numerical Answer Type) questions, GATE 2020 AE. Rest of the 31 questions were MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions)
- 10 MCQs questions appeared from the General Aptitude section, carrying 15 marks
- The remaining 55 questions were related to core Mathematics, carried 85% of the paper weightage
- GATE 2020 AE was a CBT based exam which consists of 65 questions. 3 hours were allowed to solve all the questions
- Total marks of the students were supposed to be reduced by ⅓ and ⅔ marks for every wrong MCQ carried 1 and 2 marks. No marks would be deducted if candidates would attempt wrong NATs
- The cutoff for the same goes up to 27.2, 24.4, and 18.1 for General, OBC and SC/ST respectively
