GATE XE 2019 Paper Analysis

• In GATE XE 2019 paper, Section A is for Engineering Mathematics which was compulsory to attempt. Section A has 11 Questions from which Questions number 1 to 7 carry one mark each and Questions number 8 to 11 carry two marks each.
• The difficulty level of the GATE XE 2019 was medium, the Engineering Mathematics questions were found to be moderate and the General Aptitude section’s Questions were a little tricky to solve.
• Section B through G of the GATE XE 2019 has questions related to fluid mechanics, Material Science, Solid Mechanics, Food Technology, etc. There were 22 questions in this section, a total of 35 marks. Questions 1 to 9 carry one mark, and the questions from 10 to 22 carry two marks. For every Wrong answer, marks were deducted from the total marks.
