GATE ME 2019 Paper Analysis

There were 65 multiple-choice questions in the test. General Aptitude was listed in the serial number of 1 to 10 and the rest 55 questions was from the core subject. The technical component was graded as 'easy to moderate,' while the general aptitude section was evaluated as 'easy.'

GATE 2019 ME has 39 MCQs and 26 NATs (Numerical Answer Type) questions, according to IIT Madras. Please see the table below for information on the MCQs and NATs that were listed based on the marks earned.

  • This year's GATE 2019 ME test paper gave the highest weight to NATs.
  • In GATE 2019 ME, No Multiple Select Questions were asked.
  • With application-based questions, Manufacturing & Thermodynamics were the topics with the highest weightage. Fluid Mechanics, on the other hand, was a lot simpler than imagined. The NAT questions were tougher than the rest of the questions.
  • An applicant must have attempted more than 45 times to make the cutoff.
  • The General Aptitude component was simple, but the technical section was somewhat tough, with a few challenging problems.
