• The technical component was graded as 'DIFFICULT,' while the general aptitude section was evaluated as 'MODERATE.'
• NATs were given the LESS weight in the GATE 2019 CY exam paper this year. GATE 2019 CS has 43 MCQs and 22 NATs (Numerical Answer Type) questions
• Inorganic Chemistry questions were simple to moderate, but Physical Chemistry questions were difficult In comparison to the other questions.
• Stereochemistry, aromatic compounds, physical chemistry, organic chemistry, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, kinetics, surface chemistry, and polymers were among the topics covered.
• The organic chemistry section was conceptual, and the stereochemistry problems were lengthy.
• According to the first student response, the paper was relatively tough in terms of difficulty levels. Easy simple arithmetic, a clock problem, basic algebra, and a little complicated English grammar received almost six to eight points.
