• In the GATE MA 2018 paper, there were 10 General Aptitude questions in which 5 questions carried 1 mark each and 5 questions were of 2 marks each.
• The Paper was also carried out in online CBT (Computer Based Test) mode.
• The General Aptitude questions were a bit tricky, but not too difficult to answer.
• There was a negative marking scheme in GATE 2018 MA, for every 1 marks question, 1/3 marks were deducted and for 2 marks questions, ⅔ marks were deducted for every incorrect answer.
